its too late now, but they should of put a RACE mode in the game Race from 1 end of the map to the other, no guns, just running, jumping, and sliding, 4-6 players..a wide but straight forward map, with high platforms and low platforms, put your parkour skills to the test! even puttin objectives in the race....might sound crappy but im bored as hell with psn down haha

There is a Parkour-Challenge, Checkpoint-race-ish, which has a leaderboard.
But it shouldn't be too difficult to allow several players racing against each other in this mode.

Also "another" idea, not "best", nor "unique" (because I've seen it at least once before on this forum).

They should really add this, great idea man.
Maybe a DLC/Update for Brink?

Yeah it would be a nice break from the running and gunning, and just be the running. They could do a lot if they had races, like distances, single races or baton races. NIce Idea!

You could just set up a private match with friends and do this...

yeeeah..........but it would be better with a proper race map layout for it ..like i said, wide but straight forward.....obviously have some slight turns and bends..but not so it feels like your just running around in circles

No. Cool idea, fun, but wouldn't be balanced by the game mechanics, so it wouldn't really work properly.

That seems more suited to Mirror's Edge instead of Brink. It seems many people think that movement in Brink is going to be the same as Mirror's Edge, but I think it isn't even going to scratch the surface of what you can do in that game. It is going to offer up a little more freedom, but I don't think it will be anything crazy.
