That was good,

though it makes your Pip-Boy invisible too (kind of)

so in the end I upgraded to something else.

explosive shotgun. called it ZERFICKER (german).

seriously strongest weapon so far. (lvl 45 on survival)

its so powerful, it instant rips off my own limbs when i accidentally hit my cover wall.

only weapon i can play the game like a first person shooter. lol.

also cool unlimited mag. laser that i craftet to a sniper( laser sniper original only have 6 shot mag, now unlimited)

and my max .308 sniper with more VATS accuracy when not seen + chameleon armor that makes me invisible is also pretty dope.

Because of the rate of fire and ammo capacity, Wounding is great on the Minigun. At lower levels though the Two Shot Laser Musket is great, and stays pretty good as long as you continue improving the crank mod.

I've gotten a lot of legendary stuff, but only a few are worth noting. A Two Shot 10mm Pistol that I modified into a silenced one so its very good for my stealth play style. Never Ending Pipe Rifle, which is [censored] because its a Pipe Rifle. A Sniper Rifle that ignores 30% of armor. And some Rocket Launcher that does double damage on enemies with full health, so that ought to hurt. The rest is a lot of enhanced VATS stuff that I use often.

A laser with double damage on healthy enemies (modded into sniper mode) , an exploding hunting rifle (nodded into a silenced 50cal sniper) and a 10mm pistol with +25% damage is my current loadout...still looking for a good prefix for my combat shotgun. And I plan on replacing the sniper rifle with a combat rifle when I find a good one. I got a poison one, but I'm not sure if it is worth it.

Supermutant behemoths, legendary mirlurks, alpha deathclaws, etc have all fallen in a few short seconds to my Wounding 10mm Auto Pistol.

With a rate of fire around 150, it made all other weapons obsolete until around level 20 when I could mod other guns enough to be useful again.

Now silenced and mainly used for stealth duties, but still very powerful.

I found a staggering minigun. It staggers the enemy being shot literaly every second. It was nearly impossible to get because i couldn't move the whole time. I upgraded it with everything as well. OP as hell.

I also found a Freezing Missile Launcher. Upgraded that one fully too. My other favorite is a poisoners sniper rifle. Those are my top 3 so far.

Synth Left Arm with 15% Bonus damage to humans, hell yeah, take that damn raiders! *huar*

Does a buyable sword count as well? Some lady in an inn sold me a chinese sword with 40% extra-damage to Robots. 10x damage sneak attacks oneshot legendary sentry bots. Lots of fun :D

Most of the legendary loot was "meh" like the walking stick with armor piercing or the pipe pistol with explosive ammu...

Do legendary gear only drop from the legendary enemies I hear about!
Are legendary enemies random or in fixed locations?
Do they re spawn?

Short answer (not wasting your pressuce time :P)

1. No, some are buyable, too. But as a drop from monsters: yes, only from Legendary enemies (with a star after their name)

2. Random

3. As they are random: no respawn per se (but there is a general respawn, where legendary enemies can spawn)

I have a sniper with that perk and fully modded it up to shoot 50 cal. It does 160 base damage. I don't even need to get a headshot to one shot kill

Limitless Potential - Split beam Laser pistol with unlimited ammo.

10mm Advanced Incendiary Pistol.

My build is a sniper at the moment so I only use the 10mm. I do carry the Spray & Pray but only used it a few times. One of which was when I came on a Behemoth & another against The Swan.

I've just gotten a double barreled shotgun with explosive damage.

This thing is insane, might as well shoot grenades.

And of course it's been renamed to "Boomstick".

I found a 10mm pistol that had something like "neverending" in the title. I thought it had unlimited ammo at first, but it was just the clip. :P Not much else besides that, maybe a hunting rifle that does 50% dmg to ghouls. Quite handy :)

Poop here :( At level ~35 and I have Gun Nut at 3/4 and Science! at 3/4 along with Rifleman at 4/5. So far all legendaries I've found don't really compare to my modded shotgun (does almost 150 damage), Sniper Rifle (does 112 damage), and my trusty rifle and laser rifle (high 70s and mid 80s respectively). Names for items:

Holy @#$%

Peek-a-boo

Ol Faithful

New Faithful

I'll let you guess which is what.

- - Actually, I take that back, I have a ton of great legendary armor that's been amazing. Better sneaking while moving, reduced damage taken from Super Mutants, increased STR and AGI. Side note - Armorer is amazing. It turned my flimsy 10/10 DR/ER baseball uniform into a 90/90 beast, and I can max it out at 110/110 when I get Armorer 4. 110/110 before I even layer stuff on top of it is @#$%in gold :D

I've found some miscellaneous armor pieces that don't really help the character I'm building. But I did find a legendary raider near the Federal Rations Supply place (or whatever the name of the base that's attached to Lonely Chappel) that was carrying a SMG that did hella high radiation damage. Definitely took me down quickly the first time I encountered him, but after I knew what I was up against I reloaded and popped some Rad-X and lobbed grenades his way.

Other than that, I found an Instigating Laser Musket that does double damage to target if at maximum health.... Its alright, but I hate having to keep charging the rifle. Its one of those first strike weapons I guess.

I've only came across, 2 legendary ghouls, 2 legendary raiders, and I believe 1 legendary human I think or something that gave me a legendary armor piece.

I found an assault rifle that fires two bullets with each pull of the trigger, effectively giving me a 100 percent damage boost with each shot. Coupled with commando rank 5 and bloody mess rank 4, I effectively deal 315% ammo per shot. Plus I modded it with gun nut rank 4. BTW I called it Harvey 2-Shot :)

VATS Enhanced 10mm pistol.

With Action Boy, Quick Hands, and Concentrated Fire you can chain head shots in VATS for days.
