What's your favourite looking armour/gear set irregardless of stats?

Still feel like I'm only at the tip of the iceburg when it comes to clothing.

Pics would be much appreciated.

well, does power armor count? because the T-45 painted with the red flame paint (which makes you go faster) and using a sub-machine gun, missle launcher, and axe is really cool

otherwise? I would say the Minutemen armor is cool, but my personal favorite is either the Silver Shroud armor (best quest line in the game, BTW), or the 111 Jumpsuit with full metal or combat armor.

I'm a fan of the classic leather and lighter combat armors, as it both fits the feel of the game and what I would probably end up with in real life, I really liked Joshua Grahams armor in NV so I think I'm going to try to remake that.

and I prefer the clothes I can fully wear armor over, the various just shirts and pants, I do like the base raider clothing and harness, not the long johns (lol)

Akalors mod has some nice variants of the Vault suit, I like the Black on Black set and I kind of wish he would put up a second Camo Armor set. his "Fallout 3" set also looks good

Yeah the power armours obviously are good, but I'm thinking more the straight up armour.

I found the shrouded suit really early on. It has terrible stats. Not sure if that is why or it's improved during the quest. I was also wondering whether some outfits from fallout shelter made it in. Knight armour, ninja, cowboy etc.

You mean the Silver Shrouds outfit?

After the quest, after a while after Kent recovers, he'll offer to improve it

I use army clothes with the BOS combat armor, patrolman glasses and a cowboy type hat.. ill grab a pic to post later.

My melee character looks badass is Grognak's costume with his axe haha

My favourite aesthetically is probably the minuteman general outfit, or simply the drifters outfit

I like the look of combat armor, if you can get a full set.

My female character looks pretty badass in the all black BOS uniform with shadowed leather armor over the top. I can't, for the life of me, find any decent looking headgear, so I just have her wearing the military hat (beret).

Anyone have any suggestions on headgear that would look good with my setup?

My fav helmet is assault gas mask. It looks boss.

I prefer the Minute Man outfit with leather pieces. Sadly, it doesn't really cut the mustard later in the game. I also like Kellog's outfit, but again it lets you down against more powerful enemies.

I don't like any of the headgear in the game.

I just like the Drifter for looks.

Just found silver shroud, but haven't received the quest yet, so I don't know anything about that. I think, if it can be improved, I may be a Silver Shroud guy.

Red Leather Trenchcoat with Ballastiv V mod.

I'm not really a fan of the layered armor look - everything just kind of looks tacked on. Like oh, I'm wearing a shirt and then I taped some leather to part of my arm. Not a fan - for me it's power armor or complete sets (like Silver Shroud / Courser / etc).

You can paint the T45? Or do you mean T60

You can paint every model of Power Armor, however some paints are exclusive to certain type.

For me it's either the T51 Power armour with Military paint or plain Leather amour with Road Leathers underneath. I was hoping the Combat armour covered more like it did in previous iterations of the game but in it's current form with all the small plates, meh.

Just realised there seems to be a lack of good looking helmet. Wish you could wear the gas mask with a helmet. They are just so plain otherwise. I really like the flight helmet. Maybe it reminds me of metro 2033/ll armour. Some of the best ones are full body suits, which I don't like as much stat wise. Like the cage one as mentioned by another user.

Ah just had another read above. The lack of headgear has also been noted. It seems you can't improve helmets at the work station either.

I think my quest for good standard armour has come from the limitations of power armour requiring cores.

The Assault Gas Mask is sort of a helm although it's probably more a hood.
