Best looking armouroutfit ?

I started a new PC last night and equipped her with Maxson's Battlecoat. It looks pretty sharp IMO.

I want the outlook of the foot soldier in the intro video so I dress exactly like that.

Don't really like Maxson's battlecoat. Don't see what people see in it. Imo, Kellog's outfit looks more badass ( to me ).

I quite like the Synth Uniform, though I only ever found one...

X-01 Power Armour isnt just the best in the game, its the best looking set of PA ive seen in any fiction.

Im also a fan of the brotherhood fatigues for when I step outside the PA, although power armour in general just fits my character so well its kinda hard to justify using anything else.

Yeah I found it in X6-88's inventory, is it even possible to loot this bad boy anywhere else? No synth guards have these in their inventory, only chest/arm/leg pieces.

All I have right now is this picture from behind (I was snapping a shot of an interesting glitch), but you still get a good idea of what it looks like:

It's the BoS Officer Uniform with shadowed heavy leather legs and chest, the arms are the standard version (I don't like the huge shoulders on the heavy variety).

The Synth armor has great stats, but the heavy stuff leaves you looking like a SW Storm Trooper.

That's exactly what I want to wear. Only issues is you can't mod ballistic weave into it and you have to kill a person to get it. But it looks great with Shadow Leather.

Some people have reported that you can get it through pickpocketing, I haven't tested it myself. But, that might require you to heavily invest in a perk you don't necessarily want.

Well I am on the PC so I could just use the console I guess. Hmm ... still miss putting Ballistic Weave in it though.

you cannot pickpocket Maxons coat off of him, only way to get it is to kill him :C

that said my favorite combinations are:

1) Vault suit, Heavy combat left arm, and normal combat armor left and right leg, and road goggles. (the overseer arm that boosts ap regen, and the two legs that increase move speed, all moded BoS for rad resist, and ultralight) this gives me a fantastic combination of armor, energy resist, and rad resist, while being very lightweight and looking awesome.

2) Railroad Mk V armor with road goggles / gas mask with goggles. more armor then the above, comparable energy resist, and less rad resist. however very heavy as the outfit weighs like 50 pounds :C you also miss out on the armor bonuses.

3) Maxons battlecoat, Airship captains hat, glasses / goggles of choice. good armor and energy resistance, no rad resist though. looks badass if a little out of place at times, and awkward as you have to destroy the BoS to get pieces of it then have their logo on everything :P

Shout out for the raider armor, I have fully moded sets of every weight and its just badass looking. I like the above outfits because very few people in the wasteland wear the same clothes, so they fit into the world, look awesome, and are unique to my character.

Army Fatigues with Ballistic Weave and a full set of shadowed sturdy combat armor over that. very stealthy with 200+ resistances and looks nice.

I killed a Courser for it of course.. :)

You'll eventually run into Coursers if you follow the main quest, here's what it looks like on me:

There are actually 3 tiers of each armour. The higher the tier the more they cover. For armours like leather and combat armours there's standard with no prefix, Sturdy and Heavy. The heavy combat armour looks much more like it does in the previous games. Their protection increases with their tier.

I know its kind of cheesy but I have taken a real liking to the Silver Shroud outfit, hat and trench coat. Add some shades and good to go!

I'm surprised it counts as armor though I'm disappointed it can't be modded at the armor stand.

I'm going Solid snake Shadowed light combat armor and the BOS black uniform. Kinda mad that the bandanna's cover your face instead of being a headband. also, why no eye patches in the base game?

The traveling Leather Coat would be awesome if you could ballistic weave it :( very sad that you can't, if thats true.

I can't find anything other then the BOS unfiroms or vault suits, that don't look bulky with combat armor on. every other outfit, makes your character look fat lol

I went with Road Leathers and Shadowed Leather legs and arms early on. Patrolman's shades to that of course.
"This is cool, I look like a cop from Mad Max (the original Mad Max movie) ... I'll probably find something better soon"

....pretty much stayed the same throughout the whole game ^^ (ok, leathers were replaced with legendary variants)
