who is the best mage companion ?

J'zargo is proficient in Heavy Armor and One-Handed and Destruction, and he's a Khajiit. Can't go wrong with that.

Illia has a knack for conjuring her own reinforcements, and she can rock a cool robe outfit.

Marcurio is kinda snarky, and able to sneak.

I like Marcurio, the mage you hire in the Bee and Barb in Riften. For a follower in this game he's very, very good. He's kinda arrogant, but he's funny, has a lot of pvssyr in dungeons, and he's very useful. He also carries a dagger and if you remove it he'll be all ranged all the time. He uses staves to great effect as well and his sneaking ability is superior. I've done a couple of things to him through the console that improves him, but the easy stuff is to make him essential and give him a better bow by removing his default bow and arrows through the console.

I like Arenea, the dunmer at the shrine of azura, I can hardly get a hit in on most enemies before she's set them on fire, conjured a flame/frost atronoch, and sent them flying with lightning bolts. She's a beast of a mage. She won't wear anything you give her though..unless you have one of FEW specific head gear's, then she'll wear just about any armor you give her.

J'zargo especially at high levels since he levels with you.

Personally I like Eola. I think she is totally awesome both in her character and she has been quite powerful for me as a follower.

Lydia - she takes a beating (including my friendly fire) and keeps on fighting!

I just realized that Illia is propably marked as essential, so she can't die...or she has been VERY lucky lately

Marcurio. he has powerful spells andhas funny comments.

J'zargo dose not use stave's or wear robs . i wanted a mage that would use my enchanted robs like the arch mage robe and hold

stave's but they all seem to be shy when it comes to that . i wont eat human flesh even in a vedio game as i refused to kill

little girls in bioshock in exchange for that ehhm thing and it felt nice to see those little dolls leaving me presents .

i might kill eola mother but i dont know about using a image anymore they seem hard to customize maybe i use a tow handed sward warrior

the one with perks, i think that would be Eola or Illia. Both incredibly good looking too.
