Running night battle across the rooftops and in the alleys of Quincy, with caravan guards helping and vertibirds in the distance

Also left out, following Dogmeat in the mists to find my lost son and get revenge. That was some sick weather

A lot of great moments, from the top of my head:

- Silver Shroud questline.

- Pickman Gallery.

- Crashing Vertibird killing a bunch of Super Mutants.

- Finding cats in Diamond City.

- Making a Jet Pack and rolfstomping enemies in Space Marines fashion.

- Blowing up Prydwen.

- Gunning down Winters with Nick.

My favorite moment was when I was doing a Railroad quest where I needed to wait to meet someone in a church at night time. I usually would sit and wait at the church, (also I noticed that Piper would sit with her hands clutched together infront of her head like she is praying) but I decided to just explore a bit and let time pass naturally.

First I ran into a group of Super Mutants, I killed them. Then went into the building they were near. It was clear except for a Protectron which I reprogrammed. I went upstairs and found a door to the roof. On the roof I found a Sniper Rifle. I looked around for something to shoot when I noticed the Protectron actually left the building and went towards another building that was in a construction site. It attracted the Super Mutants over there so I was able to snipe them all.

Then I went over to the construction site, went to the top floor and found a ramp that actually let's you go on the large elevated freeway that runs through the city. I didn't know you could even get up there. I explore the freeway for a while until I decided to head back.

I notice there are several different buildings I could jump down on I pick the closest one and as soon as I do a Glowing Deathclaw climbs onto the roof. I think I'm screwed but I actually managed to kill it without dying. I then climb down some scaffolding and kill some raiders below. Then I head back the to church listening to "Don't they know it's the end of the world".

My best moment so far... I was exploring Goodneighbor and ended up in the third rail listening to that awesome singer gal. I seduced her and went on a 'date'. After leaving her room that morning I run into none other than the ghoul version of the Vault-tec Rep that first took my information at the start of the game. Holy crap! A familiar-ish face after all these years! We caught up on old times. The poor fellow was down on his luck, so I invited him back to Sanctuary. All he had to his name was 2 caps, a rusty pipe pistol, and his dirty old salesman outfit. I hooked him up with a clean black suit, a bowler hat, and Kellog's 44 pistol tricked out to the high nines. I set up a clothing shop and put him in charge of it. There is just something special about meeting an old friend and giving them a second chance at life. He's my best bud now...my right hand man! We catch up on old times and look forward to our new bright future as the kings of Sanctuary, jewel of the wasteland. I think he's taken a liking to the ghoul lass I put in charge of the bar earlier. If they get together, I'll surprise them with a new house they can call their own.

BOS spoiler:

Spoiler
For me so far it would definately be the moment I step out of the Kellog mission, on top of the roof and the BOS ships arrive, seeing the ships fly in, hearing the engine noise and the speaker announcement and the radio transmission. Awesome.

Best moments?

* The arrival of the Brotherhood of Steel in the Prydwen for an epic holy [censored] moment.

* Making Vault-Tech my slave. No, seriously, that's how the Sole Survivor sees him and he manages my crops at the Red Rocket gas station. He's so HAPPY about it.

* Finding a robot race track run by raiders who do bugle music while chasing me.

* Vault 81 -- my Vault Dweller cried at seeing the beauty of it.

* Giving the wedding ring to Piper and having her equip it.

Shooting at a Suicide Mutant with my sniper rifle in free aim....and missing twice. Taking him on in VATS as he gets closer with my shotgun, and hitting him only once. Waiting for the kaboom and watching the mysterious stranger empty a .44 Magnum into his chest. Beautiful!

Being kill cammed by the DC outside the museum. He picked me up in his left hand, looked at me for a bit then reared back his left hand and....game announced that my head was damaged and I should use a stimpak... then I watched my head spin off into the distance. I laughed out loud. "Yeah, that's gonna need a stimpak alright!"

Trying to do my old "Pee-ka-Boom!" trick from FO3/NV. Get my gun ready at a corner, peek out and take my shot. Then duck back around the corner. Worked great in those two games and only exposed myself for a short time.

Imagine my shock when I tried the exact same thing in FO4. Shooting around corners and over low cover is now a reality. Try it sometime and you'll see.

I was fairly low level and fighting some raiders when a pack of molerats turned up and started attacking the raiders, dogmeat and me. After much slaughter, there was only one raider left hiding in a building. The last molerat charged straight at him... and detonated a mine just in front of the door blowing itself to pieces and killing the raider. I think that's the moment that I got even more hooked on the game than I already was.

I pacified a Super mutant.

My guy saying "Don't shoot, Human Friend" made me laugh.

Not a fan of the ghouls, mainly because they charge from 50 feet away, somehow do 20-30% damage to you as the roll past behind you at your feet. It's just the nonsense of them rolling around on the ground and still being deadly that annoys me and somehow end up behind you.

For me still the most memorable moment was leaving the fort that Kellog is holed up in and seeing the big BoS airship and vertibirds fly past.

Two best moments so far, both just dumb little things.

Supermutant taunting me "You hit like a Radroach!"

Standing up high on metal stairways/walkways with a broken section covered in boards. Stood on the boards for a few moments taking in the view when pieces started to crumble away beneath my feet, with just enough time to jump back to more solid footing.

The first time I threw a smoke nade into a SM camp and watched artillery rain down on them. All I had to do was loot.

The only moment I can recall stopping for a moment and saying wow to myself, was when I first saw the Prydwen flying over the Commonwealth escorted by Vertibirds, along with the BoS on the loudspeaker. It was so awesome.

Another great moment was when I met the Vault-Tec rep in the hotel at Goodneighbor. It really made me feel guilty that I had escaped nuclear fire when he hadn't. It was a great moment to see somebody you sort of knew before the Great War.

It's kind of hilarious the Vault-Tech guy apparently lived in Sanctuary but you had no idea who the hell he was.

The best moment was recognizing my son before the "reveal" based on the hideous and hilarious features that he inherited from his intentionally hideous dead mother XD

The USS Constitution questline was awesome.

I witnessed a pack of 3 Bloatflies kill a glowing Deathclaw.

But I anticipate one moment, if I manage to time it right... I want Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries to play on the classical radio station, when I assault Fort Strong...

Either the BoS entrance or the entirety of the Silver Shroud quest. That questline was AMAZING.

Having an exploding protectron turn all of Hallucigen into a big explosion. Man, it took me ages to work out how to kill it.

Oh, and my first feral ghoul crawling out from under a truck. So well done!

Yes, that was pretty cool, it was also satisfying killing Kellog as I had problem with him. Solution was pressing q while he was talking so I entered VAT at once, then sett up a lot of headshots and execute, VAT will not care if he activates an stealth boy.

I loved that quest! I wish it continued. Those guys deserve to be a full fledged faction. The Diamond Radio reaction is fun as well. It cracks me up every time it comes on.
