Best option in the Sheriff quest in Primm : Fallout: New Vegas

Who would be the best to choice as Sheriff in Primm and how can you keep Beagle a Deputy?

Depends on you.
Beagle can never stay deputy, he nly got it because he was a relative.
I choose NCR.

In my mind, the best choice is too choice the NCR because even though Primm is under taxes, they get a lot more traders wandering into town, so Johnson Nash is more supplied. But none of them are really the best choice, just depends on your preference. Also, you can't keep Beagle as a deputy.

I usually go with the convict.Second chances and all.Sure hes a little loose with his side arm.But I think,given the nature of the city in question...thats exactly whats needed to keep it safe.That...and NV's NCR are a bunch of mamby pambies..Too bad I cant talk Marcus into taking that job...THAT would be cool.

I prefer using Meyers or Primm Slim as sherriff, Meyers is a hardliner for the law, and Slim has a nice ending if you dont go the Legion route.

It also kind of depends on which ending you'll go for eventually. This goes for picking the NCR, since they are one of the main factions in the game. Though the others have their effects as well, depending on your ending.

I tend to choose Meyers, but Primm Slim is okay if a bit slow.

I go with Meyers because he has my personal favorite (non-Black Mountain) radio quote.

"Howdy folks, I'm Sheriff Meyers. Behave yourself, or I'll shoot you dead."

Just can't beat that with a stick.

I chose Meyers, and my wife (Fallout is the only video game she plays, and god does she love it) chose Slim. I would have chosen Slim too, but my skill (repair or science, can't remember) wasn't high enough and I didn't feel like hunting down the other things needed. Plus, I like to travel and discover new locations.

The best option for primm is primm slim. or no one. If you go legion dont get a sheriff. Just leave primm alone in that case.

For the "nicest" ending, take the least obvious route and elect the robot. Turns out he's pretty good, in his idiosyncratic fashion. Yeehaw!

The best option for primm is primm slim. or no one. If you go legion dont get a sheriff. Just leave primm alone in that case.

For Legion, the best option is to put the NCR in charge since the town won't get eliminated and still runs like normal except it is watched by the Legion

As said earlier, best is debatable. The worst choice, however, I would say is Meyers or Slim with a Legion victory, since the town gets wiped out. Choosing NCR when they lose is also pretty bad since they abandon the town.

i used a skill book and put slim in charge of the town.
