Best places to raid for CAPS

Post » Tue Jan 12, 2016 2:28 pm

Any good spots with good respawns every so often? So far I haven't found any. In new vegas I would just keep raiding black mountain every few days and I got rich off that. Any similar places in FO4? The loot must be good.

Just have scrounger 4/4 and luck at 10... you'll have so many bullets and gear you won't use ever at Dunwich Borers. I love scrapping weapons and gear for materials like steel and screws... and this spot is golden.

Honestly, caps are kind of worthless. This game really runs on barter.

If you're a settlements type, make-and-barter Jet or Purified water or Mutfruit. If you're not into settlements, barter (weightless) unused ammo.

Pretty much, no real need for physical caps, though you will eventually end up with more than you need. For quick cash though you could initiate the Diamond City Blues quest, go to the colonial taphouse in DC in the upper stands. You'll see a guy get his butt kicked by the Bartender and leave. If you go outside, he will eventually approach you and get things going. Accept his job involving getting revenge then go back to the Bartender and intimidate him a bit, he will eventually confess to a chem deal going down nearby (or you can kill him and loot the deal's location, either or). At the chem deal there will be several crates loaded with various chems, i mean loaded. like 40+ of psycho, jet, mentats, buffout each. Barter those for whatever you need, remember to wear as much charisma boosting gear as you can muster before trading, and it also helps to eat graqe mentats too to get the most value out of your trades. You can make graqe mentats at a chem station with a box of mentats, 1 whiskey and 2 hubflowers.

Unfortunately I cant rely on my settlements for anything. My game is bugged. I can't build any power generators or nothing sadly.
