There's no best or worst platform to play a game on.
Gonna play Brink on the 360.

I'm 100% getting it for PC, and possibly for PlayStation 3.

I would have to say the "best" would be the PC simply due to having more control over the games options and features.
In terms of which I will have the most fun with, the PS3 has me hooked. Most of my PSN friends are getting it, so my Steam buddies are just gonna have to deal with only seeing me on L4D2.

I myself have all three modes of gaming, although i tend to opt for PC gaming but that does not exclude any of the consoles.

Given the cost of buying a new pc in today's market, it is obvious that one does get a serious value for money and as the progression of game developing increases the demand for more cpu power and not only will see games like brink were its interface become more fluent when comparing to other game engines will require an above average pc.

Not to bring back the console war but PC is obviously the best.
Anyway I will be buying it for the xbox 360 cause no one im freinds with has a good enough comp to play games on the PC. To me ps3 controllers feel cheap and made of weak plastic, but the bottom line is that everyone wants to defend their 300 dollars, but back in the ps1,ps2, original xbox days xbox pwned all because halo was ground breaking but now the only difference is that ps3 online is free but laggier ON THE SAME WIFI as the xbox and populated by angry brits (mag only).

I dunno why ppl say pcs are expensive - if I had 300$ I could've upgraded my old pc to be able to run crysis on high (common benchmark :D)
quick look on google:

don't listen to me, I hate consoles... :P

Sorry to inform you but your WRONG!

PC has a significantly higher performance than any console atm. As the PC is fully upgradable constantly and can run far smoother.
For example: I have L4D and L4D2 on my PC and My Friend has both on his Xbox 360... When i played them on his 360 with him I noticed a great deal of difference.
The graphics are of lower render, less zombies are used, the pace of the game seems somewhat slower and it didn't run as smooth.

Obviously this all depends on How Good your PC is to determine this.

I myself would get this for my PS3 but I think this is a game more for PC with potential modding and much smoother gaming experience.

Im going to definitely be playing it on Xbox, i dont a PS3, and never feel i need one. Im not getting it for PC, for a couple of reasons. 1 My PC is slow and wont be able to run Brink at all and i dont feel like wasting my money upgrading it, 2 i cant stand using a keyboard and mouse, i have heard its better in the long run, but i just dont like it at all. 3 as for a friends list goes, i like the easy to use interface on my xbox, and all my friends play Xbox , and 4 i like sitting in front of my 56' TV, instead of my 20' computer monitor.
As for PC, yea, you guys have dedicated servers, except for MW2 ( but IMO that game svcks anyways), and you guys have modding/user created content. But really i have a great connection, and i very rarely lag out of a game, and i have no desire to mod. So yea i cast my vote for Xbox, but PC and PS3 will both probably very good as well.

Gears of War
Available on PC

The Orange Box
Originally a PC release, that features games that were originally only on PC, by a developer that is known to develop PC games. Half Life and Team Fortress are synonymous with PC gaming, so why would you list this as an xbox (or any console) exclusive. Also it is available on the PS3

Mass Effect
Also available on PC, with a redesigned GUI and HUD to take advantage of PC controls. Another tittle coming to the PS3

Fable
Available on PC with the bonus content all in one package.

Splinter Cell
and Splinter Cell games are also available on PC.

Forza Motorsport
It's main existence is to compete with Grand Turismo - a PS3 exclusive. What Horse said.

Street Fighter
Available on PC, and was also on SNES, Genesis, Arcade, PS1 and 2 and probably more. Also available on the PS3

Alan Wake
Uh oh, that's 2 you named...Although, it was planned for a PC release, development was canceled.

Crackdown
Uh oh, another one...

Left 4 Dead,
Available on PC.

Half your list is available on the PS3 as well and all of them arfe pretty much avaiable on the PC so your arguments for 360 being better with more exclusives doesnt stand.

It's all Personal taste, sure you can have an awesome computer, but theres also hacking and errors with computers ( Not all Computers have lots of errors/Viruses ). My Computer's alright, better than avg. had some problems but eh.
I Never owned or used a PS3 so i can't judge one.. Seems Just as good as an Xbox 360 ( Except my personal taste of 360s seeming to be awesome ) I don't Own a PS3 won't need one anyhow.

I own an Xbox 360, Mainly personal taste. PCs are out, couldn't stand some BS was on there sometimes, also Controllers give not as much controls but all in reach of my hands.

Its funny, It went like .. PC - Nintendo Game Cube - PS2 - Xbox - Xbox 360

Reasons why PS3 is going to be better, not more popular, but better.
>Online is free, and always will be, and to ME we have an easier store.
>Controller tech. is much more better, (ran out of compliments)
>Sound output is clearer and stronger. (With HDMI chord it's even more awesome)
>Visuals / Graphics are more clear and better, because we got da blue-ray biatches! (And with HDMI chord it's legendary)
>Less trolls and "screaming ten-year-olds" online, and controller hackers.
Allright you can troll me now... :)

Yeah and get the thread locked. HDMI and Bluray are not the magic technologies you think they are. You didn't do all that well to promote PS3 because you don't know much about it. Go research it instead of asking everyone to come argue with you.

only the online part seems to make the ps3 better than the pc
the other's are where pc is better, so i'd say it's clear what platform is best :)

theres a few things.

i hate to be one of those people who is like "insert platform here" IS BEST!!! WAHAHAHAHAHA and i do acknowledge that all platforms have advantages.
It went more:
Gamecube-Ps2-Xbox-xbox 360
pc - pc - pc - pc

Pc always was there, and always will be. Consoles can battle it out, but pc isnt part of that. Its in its own, happy family :3
Also, if you know how to use a computer it will have NO viruses and NO errors (i know mine doesn't)

Isn't that (for consoles) solely because less people have a headset, compared to XBox users?

The PC has additional text chat, so it wins this in any case.

what exactly is your point?
you want a cookie for having a playstation?
yeah, its a better machine, better hardware ... MORE PEOPLE PLAY XBOX, nothing you can do about it. Just shut your mouth already. There is no point to anything you are saying.

There is this guy on Youtube that bashes the xbox 360, and praises the PS3, otherwise known as the "Trey" right?

So there is this situation where he talks about the exclusives on each system, and how he says that the 360 fanbase are stupid in saying that there are more exclusives on 360 than PS3 right? Well that may be true if you are only looking at the two consoles alone, but when you take all the platforms into account, it isn't the case.

So, he says, "see this? see this? Why it's a PC. I can play what you claim are 360 exclusives on my PC. So it ain't exclusive anymore" Then he banters on about something else, then ending with the phrase "Trey 4 life".

ha, yeah, that guy is a tool ..
and yeah, maybe some of the xbox exclusives can be found on PC ... but that just makes them exclusive to xbox and PC.. PS3 still can't get them ..
so really, the only thing that guy is saying is that both the xbox 360 annnnd the PC have a better game selection than a PS3 ...
it really does absolutely nothing to prove the a PS3 is any better, in any way
