Favorite province: Black Marsh (expecting great visuals and atmosphere + the secrets of the Hist)
Least favorite: Cyrodiil (in lore it is greater and more diverse than it was in game)
Dunno about landmass, Cyrodiil looks pretty big on the map although Vvardenfell alone felt bigger in game. In TES:O I'll fight for Ebonheart because it holds my favorite races and provinces, and I expect it to be the largest faction although that's not necessarly a good thing

I tried to pick Black Marsh as a favorite, although Morrowind was excellent in its conception and culture, as well as its unique flora and fauna.

My least favorite was Cyrodiil, which might have been "so-so" and a bit dull if done according to lore, but was made even more mundane and boring for the game.

The largest, lorewise, is Cyrodiil by far, although there is no question that Daggerfall's rendition of High Rock was several orders of magnitude larger than the other games.

As for the MMO, I have no interest in ESO, and don't care to pointlessly speculate on which province will end up getting more of one thing or another.

Since I can't and won't answer the last two, I couldn't submit my other choices. There is no "don't care" or "don't know" answer, the latter of which is probably true for 99.9% of the forumgoers here, and the other 0.1% would be under a non-disclosure agreement and not allowed to talk about it anyway.

Yes, this was my problem also. I couldn't vote either.

Favourite province: Valenwood

Least favourite province: Black Marsh

What is the biggest province: Cyrodiil, http://images.uesp.net/c/c3/TamrielMap.jpg.

Which ESO faction will have the largest land mass: Look at a map, clearly it's going to be the Ebonheart Pact. Morrowind and Skyrim are two of the largest provinces.

Which ESO faction will have the most players: Ebonheart Pact, people have always had a hard on for Argonians and Dunmer, and since Skyrim is such a successful game, a lot of people will probably want to play Nords, too.

Favorite province: Cyrodiil, both in-lore and in-game.

Least favorite province: Elsweyr

Largest province: Cyrodiil, as others have pointed out. Not sure why this one is a poll option, there's really no room for opinion here.

Largest/most populous 2nd era alliance: Ebonheart Pact

Looks to me like the Province of Morrowind is about the same size as Cyrodiil, possibly larger.

The Inner Sea takes a significant bite out of it, otherwise it would be similar in size to Cyrodiil. In one of the in-game books, Cyrodiil is described as being the largest province in Tamriel. That's a "fact", according to both in-game and outside documentation, not an opinion. It's also a "fact" that Daggerfall's in-game land area was hundreds of times larger than any of the other games in the series. Morrowind is probably second, judging by the maps (which have changed the relative proportions of the provinces a bit over the course of the series), although it's not directly stated to be so.

Favorite province: Black Marsh and Elsweyr. This is a note to Bethesda employees: this is a good moment to take us to the beast provinces, show us that kind of Tamriel too!
Not favorite: Skyrim, Cyrodiil, Hammerfell
I want all the upcoming provinces to be bigger than Vvardenfell, Cyrodiil and Skyrim regardless how big or small they are on a 2D map. 2x times the size of Skyrim would be a minimum for me to feel like a big place to explore and hopefully get lost once in a while. And more random encounters (groups, skirmishes, caravans, etc) and less dungeons! Too many dungeons make the map feel cramped although it isn't.

I liked the number of dungeons, but the spacing between them was REALLY not enough. If they were spread out more over at least double the map area, I'd be a lot happier with them. I'd actually rather see a few less dungeons in the same area than more crowded into an even smaller space, even though I'm typically not a big fan of the whole "less = more" philosophy.

Favorite: Black Marsh. Tribes of Argonians, Hist, lush swamplands with sunken temples treasures and wormholes, weird flora and fauna, dark fantasy and survival horror, that's totally awesome for me.

Least favorite: I'll go with Cyrodiil here, I can't dislike a province before seeing it, and of all 3 I've seen (Morrowind, Cyrodiil, Skyrim) Cyrodiil felt the most generic and uninspiring by a landslide.

I don't know why but I am really hoping that Cyrodiil is presented much better in ESO than it was in Oblivion.

1: Skyrim, it reminds me of home
2: Summerset Isles, "Damned elves," (I don't mind Bosmer {BOSBROS!} or Dunmer, but Altmer can go die)
3: Cyrodiil, capital province
4: Same for the players' sake
5: Ebonheart by a landslide, Argonians, Nords, Dunmer, Everyone else is f'd. Good luck.

Zenimax has confirmed that all of the factions landmass will be the same.

If you lookhttp://static.elderscrollsonline.com/assets//img/game-guide/tamriel-map.jpg, you will see the colors that are in each area, these highlighted zones show what ares will be availabe at release.

confirmation:
Q- Looking at http://static.elderscrollsonline.com/assets//img/game-guide/tamriel-map.jpg I noticed some areas were grayed... or rather, "browned" out; Black Marsh and Vvardenfell, most notably, and with Solstheim, large portion of the western Skyrim (the areas containing Markath and Solitude, for example), and most of the eastern portion of Morrowind. The question itself is as follows: Do you have future plans regarding these areas, possibly including them at expansions, etc? And is the "only" playable area for the Pact the area colored in red - not to forget Cyrodiil, of course? If so, might we gain a rough estimate of the amount of "zones" (areas with short loading screens separating them) this seemingly massive area includes? – By Juho Kola

A- It’s too early for us to start discussing the exact number and names of locations that each Alliance will be able to explore when The Elder Scrolls Online launches, but we have plans to expand and open up more regions of Tamriel in the future.
As for the colors you see on our Alliances page map, those are rough visual representations of each Alliance’s territory. That map is meant to give you a general idea of each Alliance’s regions—what you see there is not intended to be exact.

Why not post this in the TESO section?

It does to me too, though it's technically smaller (Morrowind approx. 6 sq. miles, Cyrodiil approx. 8 sq. miles). Here's five reasons why Vvardenfell feels larger to me:

1. Fog. Seeing the White Gold Tower from practically every square inch of Cyrodiil makes its game world look as small as a model train layout.

2. Running speed. The base running/walking speed was increased in Oblivion, reducing the time it takes to travel the same distance.

3. Starting position. Oblivion starts the player off near the center of the map. Morrowind starts the player off in a corner of the map. Nearly the entirety of Vvardenfell is in front of the player at the start of a game, and it is a long, long journey to reach the other end. It's a much shorter trip to reach any of the borders of Cyrodiil from the prison exit.

4. Invisible barriers. The sea around Vvardenfell went on forever. But Cyrodiil is surrounded by invisible walls. I can't speak for anybody else but knowing I'm surrounded by walls makes the game world feel smaller to me. And the game even goes so far as to rub it in your face with its "You cannot go that way. Turn back," message.

5. Topography. Vvardenfell was basically flat, with a mountain in the center; Cyrodill is basically flat in the center, surrounded by mountains. To me, being in Cyrodiil often feels like being inside a gigantic bowl. Vvardenfell didn't feel as confining to me because it was not surrounded by mountains.

So with ESO you'd say they would scale all the areas to be exactly the same?

Favourite Province: Valenwood. The beautiful garden of Tamriel. Also home to my favourite race
Least Favourite Province: Black Marsh. I don't dislike any of them really, but Black Marsh seems the least appealing to me, along with the fact that a land of Argonians seems a silly setting for a future game.
Largest Province: Cyrodiil. (Someone said High Rock; have they not seen a map of Tamriel?)
Largest ESO Landmass: Ebonheart Pact.
Most Popular ESO Province: Ebonheart. Argonians seem to top many polls as fans' favourite race, Nords are extremely popular, and Morrowind-obsessed fans worship Dunmer.
