I'm going to start a new playthrough starting off in Solstheim. I've never actually done anything in Solstheim other than the main Dragonborn DLC quest. Since it's like playing Skyrim for the first time, I want to adventure through every dungeon and cave there is, and try out a new style as a Spellsword. Which race do you think is best for this? I was thinking Dark Elf

Probably Imperial or Breton.

Id have to say Breton, magic resist of 25%,cimperial has, what, better chance for gold in containers? Bah.

Breton or khajiit.

Only going by stats alone, Breton, hands down, its ability is so much better than all the others it is sickening.

Khajiit is best for a jack-of-all trades

But Khajiit are pretty squishy for warrior-melee, aren't they?

I would say Dunmer and Imperials.

Pro-tip: It doesn't actually matter so pick Orc, Breton or Altmer for the best racial bonuses.

why? They make the best unarmed fighters.
