you forget wood elves are monstrositys "in their elemnt", a bosmer ranger could take outan ork beserker before he even knew the bosmer was there, and if there is more than one bosmer they become an increadably powerful firing squad, and then they will EAT the corpses of fallen foes, thats is a huge intimidation facter (mental warfare is always important in a war, if someone can induce fear they can exploit that fear, and take you down)

redguards in yokuda (their old home) had powerful mages, if they still know some of that magic they could be even stronger than altmer

agree that bosmer would win if they had the drop on any race but that isn't the circumstances the circumstances are for this question.. a dark elf a high elf and a wood elf are in an arena who comes out alive. Bosmer are only useful if they get the first attack or are in packs. one bosmer with no advantage of shadows could not beat the other two elves

if you would have finished reading my original post you would i have seen i based that off of a war, not some simple arena match that could not prove anything, so this whole conversation just lost all meaning :teehee:

I just realized I hate every option for Mer

Dunmer are racist and cruel
Altmer are racist and stuck up
Bosmer are annoying cannibals
And orcs are just ugly

lol i really do dislike argonians.. secret.. i really don't but i like dark elves and they don't like argonians so now i just follow that lol i really got no reason..side note.. argonians look absolutly incredible now

this was kind of the point of my thread to see like which races are most popular.. I had no idea Bretons were so popular i never really paid attention to them. Can anyone tell me why they are so awesome and if they did anything in the lore that makes them hold up against other races accomplishments for instance the invasion or morrowind or Orsinium

Neither. Depends what you're up against. If you're up against a magic user, then Breton. Their 50% immunity to magic and extra magic pool make them a good at coutner-magic.

If you're against fighters and mundane weapon users, then altmer will be better due to their very large magic pool and offensive magic bonuses. Altmer aren't great against other mages or magical creatures due to their elemental weaknesses.

Simply put, if an Altmer was up against a pure fighter, they'd do better than the Breton against the same enemy, but if an Altmer was up against a Breton, the Breton would probably win.
