Ok so a lot of people have been naming off there favorite race or the best race to play in Skyrim but i want to know overall what the most badass race is the best overall fighter and coolest race in existence. think of it like this. Who would be the last one standing of all ten races were in a gladiator ring. Everyone gets there weapon of choice.. who would come out alive. For me its obviously Dunmer cuz well i mean come on..

If anyone is confused on what race to pick as there first race in Skyrim just pick the winner of the poll.. so Dunmer....and if argonians or imperials win..i will cry..that is all

Saw three races under the beast list. Was expecting redguard like some of the troll threads, instead they got orcs, lol.

fixed the orc thing my bad guys and it isnt flame bait i just want to see what the over all badass race is

redguard are the strongest human race (they have great magic, and great warriors, second only to orks, they combine the best of both worlds)

woodelves are strongest mer (the intimidation factor of seeing cannibals after yoru friend before they set their sights on you is a powerful weapon in and of itself)

argonians are the strongest beast race (they have the ability to breath underwater [a big bonus in a lot of situations], the ability to resist poison and disease [also very useful], and they are the only race that defeated dagon without the CoCs help [stated in one of the books, the argonians are the one race that stormed the gates and made dagon's generals close them])

best race is argonian (the diffrent tribes can provide a lot of abilitys [sarpa- winged tribe, naga- usualy intimidating [mental warfare], the other names i cant remember], and they could survive in the swamps with ease, out waiting all other races)

of course that is if they were in a war, not in an arena, in an arena orks would be the best of the best

There are no "badass" race. It's all opinion

This is my opinion, but I believe the best race is unquestionably either the High elf, or the Breton. The reason for this is that fortified magicka can't be learned. In Oblivion, I can start a Breton, and just make sure to sneak in a populated room before leveling up. That would give me the +10 agility a wood elf started with in no time. However, If I were to start a wood elf, I would never have access to the increased magicka beyond raising my intelligence, a birthsign, or magical items. You have to look ahead. Once all your skills are at 100, having that increased agility in the beginning of the game is irrelevant; whereas the additional magicka will always be invaluable.

Every race ends up the same in the long run, honestly it all depends on how you want to look.

The argonian love zombies will swamp this poll just like they have every other one. These threads are pointless.

you forget wood elves are monstrositys "in their elemnt", a bosmer ranger could take outan ork beserker before he even knew the bosmer was there, and if there is more than one bosmer they become an increadably powerful firing squad, and then they will EAT the corpses of fallen foes, thats is a huge intimidation facter (mental warfare is always important in a war, if someone can induce fear they can exploit that fear, and take you down)

redguards in yokuda (their old home) had powerful mages, if they still know some of that magic they could be even stronger than altmer
