i do have to agree with you on the orc... but i think dark elves have the cake... they are perfectly balnced with a blade and destruction magic which can prove to be a very potent combination when combined... but in terms of brute force the orc takes it... thanks for the feeback btw

Just roll with the Redguards. They are made to be warriors based on their stats and traits.

I'd have to say redguard. They can nuke entire islands with their swords.

OB: Bretons are not a bad choice, due to their elemental resistance is 50 across the board. Potentially an altmer if they have full absorb magicka, so that way they regain more magicka due to their weakness too it. The issue with the two, is that it'll take some time to bring their combat skills and stats up, but it'll be worth the wait. They make great battlemages too.

Redguards have the best self-buff when it comes to being a warrior, amazing stats, and not to mention no elemental weaknesses, and immunity or close to immunity to poisons and disease. Orcs are pretty good, because they have 25 magicka resistance across the board. However, berserk, while can be quite powerful, is a double edged sword. The problem with it, is that you agility drops to 0, so it's easy to get knocked around. Nords are good, but they don't have that much going for them, other than having no real weaknesses, and some decent strengths. Redguards are superior to nords though.

Dunmer have it well by being extremely well rounded. Not to mention, they have really high fire resistance, which is VERY useful in OB.

Khajiits, they're the best at anything :P

Ok, a serious answer. When I think warriors, I think big, bad, bruiser built men in rusty tin suits and big weapons. I think orc

Redguards are the most balanced warriors in terms of stats, skill bonuses, and racial abilities. They make excellent warriors of any fighting style or weapon type and allow for both offensive and defensive play, as compared to the much more offensive Orc and Nord.

I say Redguard. They're good with all the armor types (at least the ones in oblivion) and all the melee weapon types (also at least the ones in oblivion). Plus they're also swift with that +athletics. They don't have +block like Orcs or Nords, but when you can move fast i don't think that that really matters. :)

I think Ill go with the Orc option. Give an Orc a big axe and bodyparts are bound to fly through the air.

I'm fond of the Imperials but the Dunmer are moving up on my ladder lately, for their tenacity and refusal to ever give up over all the long years, despite various setbacks.

Argonians just gained a few coolness points as well.

Seems like just about any race can be a warrior. I made a list here of what would be suitable for decent warriors and which cannot:

Altmer
** Argonian
Bosmer
Breton
** Dunmer
*** Imperial
* Khajiit
*** Nord
*** Orc
*** Redguard
