Linkin's Repeater in Fallout 3 hands down best gun/rifle in the game.

BEST

F3:Backwater Rifle(the unique Lever Action). You can easily get a 95% critical hit chance.
NV:This Machine and Brush Gun

New Vegas - I'm torn between the light machine gun with the extended magzine and This Machine, so i carry both.

This Machine. I have an Automatic Rifle off-hand with almost 2000 rounds of .308 JSP off-hand so that's pretty close too.

New Vegas would be "This Machine"

Over all I like "This Machine" because I love m1 garands.

if i could only have one, i would prob pick the all american, it does a little of everything, obsidian is good with weapons, my second pick would prob be the sniper rifle with a silencer.

Hunting Rifle for both. I love it so much. It kicks even more ass in New Vegas. I can one shot Deathclaws with it.
