I figured out only putting one room on the first level and makeing it a 3 room combo lets me arm 6 people to fight the 3 or 4 raiders that show up. Anyone else found a quicker way to kill these scum?

I have two dwellers in my vault room: one with a focused gatling laser and the other with a missile launcher. Nothing gets past them.

Second that. However I had a similar strategy as OP. But that was before I got my hamds on better hardware.

No need to have anyone stand guard , upgraded vault door gives plenty of time ,


I just named my 2 best guys with high skills on most stats "A" so they appear top of my char list and I just assign them to run to the door with their guns (17 dmg) already equipped . They kill raiders then run back to work

I am similar. In one vault its a Focused Gatling Laser and Flamer. In the other its a Hardened Fatman and a Rusty Scoped .44 (more for looks). None Shall Pass!

Good idea with the naming. I keep the guys in the vault room purely for simplicity. Granted, I can afford to have two guys producing zero resources.

I've got a similar setup and the next floor of my Vault is loaded with my best artillery, so I can send folks up quickly.
