Best in the elder scrolls series?

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 1:34 pm

Okay,I wish everybody here could feel the same way as i feel about skyrim,I get that morrowind feeling all over again, and i consider this game to be one of the Better elder scrolls games,Dont get me wrong,I loved oblivion, but i think it is the worst in the series if i most compare :)
I almost love skyrim as much as i love morrowind.I still think morrowind is the best, but i have played morrowind more so.But skyrim is one of the better! i love it! I get annoyed by people these days on the forums, just complaining and complaining. If you dont have something nice to say, dont say it,nobody likes a whiner....
And well, too bad for you that you dislikeskyrim :/ i really wish people could feel the same way as i do.feels like coming home<3
Morrowind/skyrim>oblivion

what about you? we all agree every elder scrolls game is amazing :) but which one do you concider the best?

Skyrim.

Bethesda's regressed a lot- a lot of things are missing that should have been in the game- but it's moving in the right direction. Now if they could only begin to add things again, for the next installment, or in upcoming DLC and/or expansions ...

Skyrim with its flaws and merits.

(due to my love of the Norse feeling it gives me)

If Skyrim's quests weren't so linear and if the guilds were longer I would consider it high up there.

No, not by a long shot. I'd say Morrowind.

skyrim definatly. once you take off the nostalgia goggles morrowind doesn't hold a candle to it.

I liked Morrowind better than oblivion for the sheer sense that you could run into something really badass at any time, or around any corner. I get that same feeling from Skyrim. I've played a bit as a sneak/thief, and then as a spell caster, now I am trying out a pure warrior. I am having a much easier time playing as a warrior with sword and board and heavy armor than the other two characters. Plus I like to focus on one type of character so I don't mix and match archetypes. The warrior definately goes through enemies like crap through a goose. I am eager to see what dlc they will come up with this time around.

I would rank Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim about equally. If magic didn't svck *** in Skyrim, it would have won the #1 position.

For me mod'ed Oblivion is the best so far. Skyrim may or may not surpass that depending on how the mod's turn out. MW is just a mess, I never could understand why people like it so much. /shrug

I really enjoy Skyrim, and while the removals didn't bother me, if they could reconstruct some of the depth that was lost with the subtraction of an armor piece, removal of spell-making, and remove some of the linearity of the questlines, TES:VI would most definitely be the best of the bunch.
