The higher the level your character is when he/she gets a Leveled Item for the first time, the better the version of that Leveled Item will be. I want to know around what level does your character have to be to get the best versions of these Leveled Items and find the best loot in dungeons.

I know in Oblivion the game (items, enemies, leveled items, etc.) basically maxed out around 20 something. What level do you have to be in Skyrim to fight the toughest enemies and get the best stuff, what level does the game max out?

I have been scouring the net for the same info. I haven't found wat the highest leveled weapons are but I did find that the highest level dragons you fight are at level 50. Personally I think it's prolly around level 35 for weapons but I'm literally pulling that number outta my sweet sixy ass. So if I was you I would wait until 50 before starting any quests with leveled items JUST to be sure.

No levelled items afaik. The perks system makes them redundant ( up to 100% damage bonus etc)

There absolutely are leveled items. I agree that some of the later perks (smithing or enchanting for example) can get you fantastic items that are definitely better than any leveled item you could get in the game. Some players don't invest in those perks and its probably thrilling for them to find a unique leveled item that is just awesomely powerful in comparison to the other loot available to them. The reason I ask what level your character has to be to get the best version of leveled items is that...

I really want the Nightingale Armor. Its not as powerful as some other armor types but it is one of the best light armor sets in the game. I could totally have other light armor that is smithed to be better and put awesome custom enchantments on it but it wouldn't look as cool
