Best video game introductions

Hey folks the question I'm asking is what are the best/your favorite video game introductions?

This can be either gameplay or a cutscene, my favorites are:

FALLOUT 1 :
Drops you into the universe seamlessly and it's beautifully harrowing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkBNKa2KXZE

Final Fantasy 7:
it's a fantastic intro and you really are in awe at the scale of midgar with the great soundtrack bringing it all together.

Bioshock: Like Fallout it drops you into the universe seamlessly and Andrew Ryan's speech is so iconic.

I kind of liked the Arkham City intro having to wake up from unconsciousness via electrocution and Strange, then escaping from a prison.

If we are counting character creation/gen intros then Fallout 3's was simply the best. I mean you are literally born, crawl to daddy, celebrate your 10th birthday, take a G.O.A.T. exam when your 16, then fight your way out to see the grand and grim world there is to explore. It's then that the actual game begins. I spent maybe 3 hours in character gen mode talking to everyone and doing mini-quests. Simply fantastic!

I rather disliked that one, actually

It's nice the first time, but when you want to make a second or third character it's a chore, and you really just want out to the world as quickly as possible. I wish Bethesda made shorter character creations than the ones found in Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Skyrim.

Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Infinite all had pretty awesome intros.

Bioshock: You on a plane then it crashes into the ocean, then you arrive at this lighthouse and when you enter it, the bathasphere (or whatever it's called) takes you to Rapture.

Bioshock 2: You're a Big Daddy who has a close ties to a special Little Sister, after you try to rescue her from Splicers the main bad "woman" tells you to blow your brains out.

Infinite: Arriving at Columbia with a piano version of "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" (although it would have been better if a piano played Columbia Gem of the Ocean) then after you arrive at this church you hear a choir singing "Will the Circle Be Unbroken"...this part of the game is why I fell in love with this game  .

You know, I have to say:

Red Dead Redemption- It really sets the narrative tone for the game.

Bioshock- A sheer work of art from the very beginning.

GTA V- The prologue mission may not be 'deep', but it sure does feel like a cool crime movie from the 90s.

Falout: New Vegas- Such an amazing little movie in the beginning.

Red Dead Revolver- Hard to explain why, I just loved it a lot.

GTA: Vice City- Just feels like a great 80s movie/Miami Vice.
