Best Way To Bring It !

Bethesda, if you wanted to port Skyrim and even Oblivion and Morrowind to PS4 and or XBOX ONE and make it worth your time to do so. Then IMO it would be best to code Skyrim first with only some nessasary bug fixs such as repairing the Red Moon quest with the Werewolf guy plus adding the command console to use for work arounds in Skyrim such as bypassing the book bug. Plus simply incressing the Draw Distians and not even up the graphic texture could work. But to make the nessisary return of profit from sales only bring out the first part of the game, thats with out the add-ons mind you. And then if you make what percent of profit back you know 100% after cost to 400% or what ever. Then when your saticfied, start to bring out the add-ons if The Elder Scrolls fans want them one at a time. This will give you time to code them...

Bethesda should do this, right C.E.O/s?

Yeah, yeah, yeah... I know. They will never do it. But I give this cool idea away to Bethesda...

First off have a http://images.uesp.net/c/c4/Fishystick.jpg

I don't really see Bethesda porting anything over to the Xbox One and Playstation 4. People have asked for years to get Morrowind ported over to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 but that never happened and it may never happen. Bethesda is a busy studio that makes a ton of money off of their old games. So they don't have the time to make ports, they are either making their next game, making expansions for their current game, fixing bug issues, or working on their next game. Then you would be surprised at how many people still buy Morrowind and Oblivion over Skyrim or that play Skyrim and want to go back and play the old ones. If they remade the old ones I feel like it would take the charm and the age out of them, all in all I think it may detract from the experience.

They won't port Oblivion and Morrowind. Now Skyrim... It was their lottery prize so there is a very tiny chance of porting it.

It is not really something you win it is tradition here on the forums for the more experienced users to hand them out to newer users. Someone might of just missed you or didn't know that it was a thing. Honestly I just started handing them out.

Yeah, and thats because they are good games as they stand. Your right on the other hand that it is far fetched to port Morrowind or even Oblivion with out any tweeks even to PS4 or Xbox One with out some annavirsary (Couldn't Spell Correct) excuse such as at lest when Morrowind first came too Xbox, and such...

Thanks for the fishystick. I dipped mine in a melted cheeze wheel. It's WabberJack time !

While it wasn't a port, you http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-on-other-devices/original-console/play-original-games

Edit: I'd rather see a new Fallout. Of course I'd rather Obsidian do it but I'll take it if Bethesda does it (and then wait a couple of years for modders to fix the game  ).

There are about a half dozen threads still open on the same subject.
Use one of them if you think there's anything new to discuss on this dead horse.
