Best way to Cheat?

Post » Fri Jan 10, 2014 6:43 pm

I've played and retired some 30+ different characters since 11/11/11. On all those characters I have never gotten any of them past level 45. The way I role-play I just will never play a character that is master of everything, so while I can master 4 or 5 skills, that never gets me high enough level to see the major bad dragons.

On another point, it is making replaying the game neigh to impossible for me. I want a character to do the DB quests again, maybe even the DG, but to play a character to just get to level 35+ is just tiresome since I have done everything in this game. I just want a character that's about 40th level from the start and go straight to these quests I want to try again.

So, my question is (on the PC) what is the best and safest way to just add a bunch of levels in game without screwing anything else up. I'm really looking for console commands I suppose.

Thanks.

addlevel adds a level to your character, but just that; you don't get to choose any perks or anything else.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console_Commands's the full list of commands you can use.

I've been going through that, but the add to skill command, which I thought would work since that's how you level anyway in Skyrim, seems to be bugged now after patch 1.9.

Well it depends.

I'm sure you know about the console command Player.advskill right? If used you can level up a skill by adding points to said skill.

EX- Player.advskill conjuration 4000 <--- that should make conjuration go up to 50 or 40 leveling you up.

I usually level up some skills to about 40 or 50 before I leave helgen cause I don't like being a noob from the start :P

So this still works? The wiki seemed to indicate it might be bugged.

I'll give it a try. Most the skills I'll never use anyway, but I don't mind leveling them up just level the character.

A command such as "player.incpcs alchemy" isn't working to level alchemy by one and add to your total level?

My batch file for 81 would include that commandx100.

Restartitis is what it is called. And there is no cure for this near fatal disease, either.

Damn, was hoping to find some kind of cure on the forum too.

Gonna have to try something cause I've been making new characters every week...Did so twice today.
