Well people what do you think is the best weapon in the fallout series.What makes you want to ejaculate when you use it (your in game character of course) mine would have to be the experimental mirv very few radroaches give me an awkward eye now yes it's insanely unpractical and unrealistic but it's just insanely cool and shows off some of bethesdas creativity.I haven't played the older fallout's thats the main reason i didn't pick a wep from one of them and new Vegas doesn't have anything as cool as the mirv although my shovel does digg euclid's c finder .

Hunting Revolver it's just so badass. BTW, not everyone thinks the biggest explosion makes the best gun. I would also vote for the Abilene Kid LE BB Gun, AMR, or Gauss Rifle, but the kick of the revolver just makes it sixy to me.

Ok the Red Ryder LE BB gun.
Possible to get it straight away in FO1, and will kill anything in the game on one hit mostly.
With the right build all through the game, and you get a ton of ammo for it early on too.

The Chinese Assault rifle. And why couldn't they add the Chinese Assault rifle to NV ? I just loved that weapon in F3, because it was suitable for any occasion . I mean I killed deathclaws with that bringer of doom =D .

Xuanlong Assault Rifle was a monster when you got the Ghoul Ecology Perk and the Superior Defender Perk from Point Lookout. Also like the All-American and the Automatic Rifle too. :wub:

I really fail to understand why they put a scope on pistols , let alone revolvers ....

I'm not an expert in modern firearms , but in my eyes , putting a scope on a pistol defies logic . I mean not only it unbalances the pistol , but seems to me that it serves no purpose as the range of a pistol is limited and iron sight at close range is extremely accurate in the right hands ,

Also when you fire a pistol with precision , your eyes cannot be glued to a scope , especially with a high caliber that has a lot of recoil (like a .44 magnum or bigger ) , most people shoot such a big revolver with their arm semi-extended and the body almost straight ready to absorb the recoil . Besides few people would shoot over 50 meters and that's a lot , usually less than 30 meters with a pistol , your eyes do need magnification at such short distances if you're a good shot

I 'm gutted the hunting revolver has this big fat stock scope , now i rarely use it because of that as it feels unrealistic to me , had they put reflex sights (that modern sight with the red dot that you see on Colt M4's ) on automatic pistols like the 9mm or 10mm , it would have been more credible .

I'd have loved a old fashioned 'wild west" revolver like that hunting revolver without the scope , i would use it a lot with my character

The Ranger Sequoia is what you are looking for. Its basically a scopeless hunting revolver.

I would have to say that my favorite weapon would either be a fully upgraded 9mm(weak, but versatile), or a silenced sniper rifle(one shot kills from 600yards).

Railway Rifle, the one that shot railway spikes. Sooooo much fun, that one :mohawk:
