Lol I think she looks like a horse whose face was sat on by a horse. Not a fan. Looks wise.

Besides that, she's nice.

Well I don't really care to acknowledge the arbitrary set-up of the OP but if I have to pick someone besides who i actually like then I will say Morwen, one of the only Nord women I find somewhat attractive and more importantly I like that she left her fighting days to live in peace with the Skaal. That being said I marry Brelyna in pretty much every game barring a specific roleplaying one.

Yuck! Uthgerd the Unbangable? No way.

You can't marry her, but Saadia would be nice. Also, since Brelyna is not an option in this thread, maybe Faralda? Those pigtails make for excellent handles.

It would be, because then she'd be able to do something useful on the throne for once.

Edit: Lol that would sound sixist if people didn't know we were talking about that moron Elisif.

Its true, which is why I said Morwen based on your utterly pointless criteria. And then finished it off with the comment that despite whatever reason for discounting those handful of characters I pick her in the end because I like her the most.

You call Brelyna a brat, yet you allcaps when someone "disobeys"/doesn't kowtow to your rather arbitrary "rules"...

You didn't say anything about no mods, so I throw in the absolutely most outstanding best wife in Skyrim: Vilja. You even get a real romancing quest and a big wedding including a party when you marry her.

Second favorite wife (still mods): Sapphire. She's cool, and her marriage dialogue fits her perfectly. (It should be the same as Senna's, since they share voice.)

The third character of mine who married a woman went for that College brat. :P The rest have married or romanced men.

A female warrior can't be elegant? Or, are you saying that that a female warrior needs to mimic male behavior in order to be a fighter?

Is it shallow? Perhaps; I like the female walk and think female NPCs look cuter with it. But in a game where people make mods where their female characters run around a cold climate in string bikinis, swinging swords that are too big for muscular men to use, I think that kind of shallowness is pretty universal.

Yuck, I didn't like Vilja, too whiny if I didn't rush through her poxy quest because I was busy trying to save the world and occasionally see my wife. Plus she was rude to my wife, and kept clumsily coming on to my character. Might have been okay if there had been an "I'm a married woman, I can assure you I am not looking at your bottom, nice as it may be" option somewhere.

It's not about mimicking male behaviour, it's about practicality. If they could wiggle in town and stomp around the countryside/battlefield then maybe, but trust me, I can wiggle with the best of them, but it's not great for getting from a to b, let alone for fighting. Why should a woman have to be all dainty and caricaturishly hyper-femme not to be seen as "mimicking men"? Not that there's owt wrong with high femme, but it's not the only way to be a woman.

Real female warriors usually would not be, no. Especially not walking like they're about to go to a ball. Lets be honest, physically speaking, males are naturally stronger than females. Doesn't mean all males can beat all females at all, but we're born with an advantage for strength. Just the way we are.

People who are strong don't tend to walk like a fairy. Lydia and the rest, walk with purpose and like they mean business. Warriors want to look tough. Male or female.
