I don't have any recommendations to a person with such bad taste.
What? Why are they excluded? Any particular reason?
Anyway, Ysolda is indeed one of my preferred choices, but I have no qualms about going with Jordis the Sword-Maiden.
Anwen from the Temple of Dibella because she is snarky but (per religious tradition) doubtless pretty awesome at, erm, giving the Lover's Comfort bonus. She also doesn't lose her personality after marriage. She's not a follower, though, which is a crying shame. Current character might marry Jenassa, although I'm not sure whether she's one of the ones who becomes an utter drip after the temple... Also, Illia is gorgeous whatever could be wrong with her?
It stands to reason that the reason those options are common are because people like them. Excluding them sort of defeats the purpose of "The best wife in Skyrim" question.
I like Mjoll.
Tried her once, nevur agin. She's so rude, like the dark elf guy that runs the general goods store in windhelm
I chose not to pick them because they are highly overrated.
Rather that than turning a badass into a simpering little girl, "oh, my love, you are so awesome and amazing and I'm apparently going to forget about all my fighting background and adventures with you!" Blee.
Ysolda is pure housewife material, and Aela is a badass. They're perfectly rated.
My only character that has really married was my orc. He married Borgakh the Steelheart and she's awesome.
Borgakh doesn't have this problem. She says, "Conquer your enemies, my love." Definitely still an orc .
Oooh! I do like her, plus I like freeing her from her obligation to marry some icky man. Currently hanging out with Ghorbash, Jenassa, Teldryn Sero and Vigilance, but I think Ghorbash and Teldryn will be taking a break soon. My Dunmer's actually half-Orc (on her father's side, obv) so she does have a certain interest in the big, green, toothy ones...
Uthgerd The Unbroken is a straight up bad-ass, she may be an accidental child killer, she may spend all of her free time drinking mead solemnly on her own, and she may occasionally bludgeon someones face in with her steel-plate gauntlets. But she's got a good heart nevertheless I say.
i choose aela the huntress shes preety awesome and badass
If you want a pure housewife, then Ysolda.
If you want a badass wife, Mjoll.
I wish you could marry Serana she's the greatest. Since I can't marry her, I just have her follow me on most of my quests and pretend we're like friends with benefits or something lol XD
I'm just gonna go ahead and say Aela anyway. Why?
Because That's why.
Besides Aela, I'd go Mjoll or Ysolda. People I wish I could marry are Frea and Svidi, aka Lynly Star-Sung.
I'd rather marry Maven.
Hahaha, maybe, maybe not. Torygg sure was occupied by her.
Still, that was a burn, none the less.
She's even hotter in ancient Nordic. She's just a badass chick.
edit: Plus dat accent.
"Hey guys! What's your favourite colour? Don't say Blue, Red, Yellow, or Purple though."
I'd say Mjoll, then.
By the way, "Ilia" is Latin for crotch. No wonder she's unpopular...
looking at her face when directly faceing her she looks good but if you stand to a side, her face just looks... scary.
If elisif is a beaut then female Sloads are goddesses.
