My frame rates have actually gotten worse in some areas. Was around 35-40, now dropping to 20.

The shadows now change quality very visibily and not very far away, much like Skyrim.

I've also noticed framerate issues since I downloaded the patch earlier today. It didn't occur to me that it might be patch-related until I saw your post....I just assumed my computer was doing something in the background eating up my resources...

One place I noticed them for sure was inside the Corvega factory, in the room behind where the boss stands (the one who has the quest marker on him if you got the quest from Tenpines). The fps drop was especially noticeable when I walked over to the terminal and started interacting with it. There have been other places, but that is one I specifically remember.

Try deleting your configuration file and letting the Launcher and Game generate new copies after applying the update.

Have the same problem with frame rate.

What configuration file are you tolking about? Fallout4.ini?

Any word if it will actually fix the problem?

Framerate is low, 20 or less, i play in high settings or medium, but before the patch i could play with good frame rate.
