Isn't PC gaming far bigger than consoles now? Also I'm sure a lot of PC gamers stop playing BGS games because they made the console versions . I'm a console gamers and it seems like PC gamers aren't fond of sharing games with consoles gamers.

Bethesda tests these games with a gamepad. They never use a mouse and keyboard, and its been that way since Oblivion. In every game, the mouse and keyboard experience absolutely svcks - from mouse acceleration and smoothing, to inelegant and inconsistant menu navigation, to the size of the HUD/UI, to FOV, to unmappable controls, to... to.. to.. you get the idea. I could keep listing them.
As a keyboard and mouse user, a Bethesda game means I have to dig into ini files, download mods, and mess about looking up settings on the internet to get the keyboard/mouse experience on parity with the gamepad experience.
This is why Bethesdas games get called 'console ports' - because during the development and testing of the games, Bethesda will never use a keyboard/mouse setup. That experience isn't ever considered. They only ever cater to a controller.
That's not the real point. The point is, they should put some effort into catering to every platfrom they want to sell on. Not the same design for a platform that has entirely different needs.
But, even though this thread seems to have been derailed in some manner, here's a question. Did anyone start a new game after the beta patch and set up a water production at Sanctuary? My problem is, I produce 80 water, there are no settlers and still nothing lands in the workbench, even after weeks of waiting.
Second issue, companion banter seems to be reduced to a minimum. Mind you, these issues only come up with a new game. Old saves work just fine in both aspects.
I'm asking, because I want to know if I should report it in the appropriate section.
Adding to the above is that provisioners are indicated by a brahmin icon. Since they are named provisioners, we already know what they do, so we don't really need an icon.
https://www.google.com/search?q=farming+icon&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjP_p_z_K7KAhWD4D4KHSgOAJwQ_AUIBygB&biw=1444&bih=773, Bethesda chose the "knife and fork" icon for farmers. And I keep mistaking it for food & drink stores, since knives and forks are what you expect to find in restaurants.
I think you have to do quest for them to produce water.
I don't think thats really true to be honest. PC gamers are happy to share their games with console gamers, the problems come from developers who don't bother to offer a pc experience on the pc version of the game. Some pc gamers attack console gamers for that, but thats just misplaced irrational hate. Its not the console gamers fault, they didn't do anything wrong, its the fault of the developer. Smart pc gamers will realize this, stupid ones won't.
wow
they didn't fix the light bug, where basic light won't illuminate anything
Physics can be easily done on cpu as has been proven by Havok and Bullet. CryEngine 3 has better debris effects than F4 yet is done entirely on the cpu. Try learning more than what Nvidia tells you.

When it comes to decorating my house/settlement with items from my inventory I've been relying on manually placing them and not using the workshop menu to place item such as bottles since it offers more freedom and seem to be more likely not falling through tables and such. However, after entering the beta I can no longer change the items direction by "pushing" on hard edges and such (I hope you know what I mean). For an example, I drop a bottle on the ground and pick it up with e and then push it towards an edge on a table to make it stand straight but now it doesn't work and the item (bottle) refuses to change angle. I wonder if this was intended... Can't see anything in the changes that should cause this.
LOL, someone please think of all the lazy settlers, especially all the one who hides in houses in sanctuary and sunshine tiding and on the other side of spectacle island every time I visit.
That's...not true. Morrowind was their first truly successful title that started the snowball. Morrowind wasn't hugely successful because it sold 90% of it's copies on PC. It was because the game was ported to the Xbox and there it outsold PC 3 times over.
You shouldn't have to do that any more, since you can change the orientation of an object you're holding now. I haven't figured out the PC controls yet - left and right mouse buttons for rotating it, but I don't know what button to hold to change the axis.
I love AMD but I play games so I buy Nvidia cards. It's not great but I will not cripple my machine.
Credit where credit's due, from my prospective the're doing a great job so far on the beta page.I opted in and immediately encountered settlement problems (no suprise there) but within half an hour I was in contact with Jessica,a comunity manager, and she immediately solved one problem and took a save game off me to sent to the team re the others.
Aye, credit where due. They do listen. Thanks for the post.
I don't know if it's a coincidence or not but after installing the beta i got a second Defend the Castle mini quest.
Sadly the attackers were sub par Mutants with none of the tough opponents amongst their number.
They did manage to take out a few turrets with ranged weapons and their hounds though.
