Beth, Why you do this?

Post » Wed Jul 31, 2013 10:14 pm

So Ive decided to form a band of heros to take on the many endeavors Skyrim has to offer. So far theres my character, an Imperial Knight, Benor, a Nord Warrior, Derkeethus, an Argonian Ranger and Teldryn Sero,a Dunmer Battlemage. Sad thing i wanted a female Altmer Mage to tie it up yet... there are no Altmer followers. What gives Bethesda?

Does anyone know of an follower mods that fit my description?

At least you can get more than one character. I don't feel like exploiting that.

Indeed. Beth wants everyone to just hate elves because vikings are the rule of cool.

Anyway, try Skyrim Nexus. There should be an abundance of Altmer followers, especially female. If you have the Creation kit(it's free) you can watch a youtube tutorial and make one yourself. It's not that hard really.

I can also give you console commands and you can use it on any Altmer female you find... like electromancers or whatever.

The Nexus is what i use and when i search altmer follower or what ever all i ever see is "no results". The commands to make almost anyone a follower has crossed my mind. Problem is i doubt the Altmer are voice acted for the role.

I'm pretty sure the female Altmer are voiced.

Try searching under High Elf. Let me know if you want the console commands to try it out.

I know the command to make NPCs like you as well as the follower faction command. Ill try them on an Altmer from the college...

High Elf seemed to do the trick... wow. I'm so used to sing their correct Mer names that i forgot about the Human names for em.

Get Faralda with you. She's hot, and she has Arch-Warlock stats and destruction spells. She also uses all elements.

I vouch for an alternate follower mod called Amazing follower tweaks, smaller and less cumbersome than UFO (imo) and smooth functionality. you can recruit your favorite Vanilla altmer if you want from Skyrim, and have plenty of followers to boot, you can even set them to follower each other to keep the clutter train down :D

In my searches for such a follower I have also come up with no results. Although I want a male one as there's already tens of thousands of custom female followers. So, I'm looking into making my own, with recycled voice files. Much as I did for Fallout 3 and NV.

At the rate I'm going I might have a working NPC by Christmas :P

As someone else mentioned I'm pretty sure there are female Altmer voice files so making a custom female follower wouldn't be too difficult with that part. I've zero interest in making one, though.
