Bethesda... Can u please add Frostfall to 360 v.?

Post » Sat Jun 01, 2013 2:22 am

Having just seen the Frostfall mod on youtube i want it added to the 360 version so much. It looks like such a brilliantly in depth mod. Its exactly the sort of thing skyrim lacks. If there is anyway to add it to the game it would be amazing, i suppose even if it had to be dlc

Sorry, no more DLC for the game but I feel your ppain. Have it on 360 but actually added it to PC so that I could have that particular mod and it is AWESOME!

No more DLC. That was announced over a month ago.

Don't even expect it in a patch. They've said they'll patch 'as needed', which means we may not even get any more patches and if we do, they'll be minor fixes. No additional content.

As said, they are done with Skyrim, plus, they will never play favorites and publish any user made content. Its either everything or nothing.

Never mind the legal issue of monetizing a user mod. Bethesda may have rights to anything somone makes with the editor, but that is a legal cover, not something they intended to use for their own gain.

Anyway, as good as frostfall is, it applies only to the player. If you fight someone in the cold, even naked your opponent wouldn't die from freezing but you would. Makes it a useless mod to me

First of all, Bethesda are done with Skyrim. There'll be no more DLC, and only a minor patch if needed - meaning if Skyrim begins setting people's systems on fire.

Second of all, why on Earth would Bethesda show such favouritism towards one mod/mod author? They've done their best to nurture this community of modders and mod users, where everyone is equal (for the most part ...) and focused on making what they want. Why would they do anything that would drive a huge rift through the community, cause outrage and seriously harm the community for all TES games, past and present?

Regardless, the answer will certainly be no and this thread will likely be locked. Perhaps join the TES VI discussion on the TES Series Discussion forum, and suggest it for the next game?

As much as I would like it. We wont get it.
1. They are finnished with Keizaal (skyrim).

2. Its a mod. They would have to do their own version. Hopefully hardcoe is added in TES VI.

Would be nice but sadly it won't be happening. I only hope Beth really spends time making option 'basic needs' and 'frostfall' style gameplay features for TES6 with it, again, being optional or having a few different severity levels.

I'll be quite annoyed if they don't show up in the next game, especially given how many people were asking and pleading with Beth to put hardcoe mode into Skyrim long before its release (and still continue doing so today). Its such a "simple" addition that can add so, so much to the gameplay and longevity of the game for many people.

if u want it so much, get a PC. This is one of the big reasons why PC>consoles.

For $60 skyrim + $20 dlcs, you can literally play skyrim, forever.

Not going to happen. The 360 can't handle Frostfall. You need to remember that just because the 360 is similar to a computer, it doesn't have the same resources as a computer.

That's why the vanilla game look vastly different right out of the box on each system. If we can't get nicely rendered characters on the 360, we're sure not going to get detailed graphics anywhere else.
