Take your time with the PC version, even if you have to delay a couple of weeks. Skyrim had a couple of issues on release, nothing like WB recently, but still, I'd prefer a late game than broken game
Bethesda games are always janky in some way, shape or form. It's just the problem with a game this big. WB is just...I don't even know...
Considering that PC mods are a wellspring of inspiration for them in developing "the next game", they're probably not gonna shaft the PC version.
Really.
Where are my 9 and 0 hotkeys?
Why did Skyrim ship with, on average, 512x512 textures?
I was thinking you were talking about how WB split up huge chunks of the game to sell for $50 as DLC.
beth games have jank at launch that is a fact. it will run well but BUGS are given at this point
True, skyrim was developed for the 360, however the worldbuilding and developer testing of this was done on pc as its faster.
I wondered if the PC only got the hires texture packs because they weren't certain if it would be released on the new consoles during development.
Depends on how much they knew about the X1/PS4 to begin with. Two year difference between Skyrim's launch and the X1/PS4.
Forecast: Cloudy
Yeah, I expect them to "pull a Bethesda". Again. Looking forward to it.
It's ok, Bethesdas games are pretty janky on all platforms on release.
Now that's true equality.
Bethesda games always have launch bugs, but they're getting better. Anyone remember how much fun Daggerfall was out of the box?
Im looking forward to seeing boston from under the map when some random effect launches me through the side of a hill or building. Bugs o glorious bugs, i ......................................................hate you !!
first patch notes calling it now
"players now should not fall thru the world when reentering vault 111"
"players now should not get stuck the world when being hit buy a grenade"
"fixed a bug were both players and npc's could be one shot in power armour"
Crashes and loading stutters and poor multi-threading are my biggest worries, modders can fix up the quest bugs.
Yes, it required maxed out luck to manage to finish the main quests memory leak out of another world.
I always seem to be lucky when it comes to buggy games, Skyrim and NV both had next to no problems for me to the point where I was pretty surprised hearing about how they were apparently somewhat broken. So if FO4 turns out to be a bugfest at launch I might just get lucky again.
NV STILL has many, many, many annoying glitches and bugs. Oh, and crashes..
umm the BGS game that ran like train wreak in last little while i know of is morrowind for xbox so yeah i think you can rest easy.<--also was first BGS game as well
or course i heard some things about skyrim on sony as well but thats really it.
expect bugs some game breaking some just straight up funny thats about it .
