Really, it's got to be Fallout. Still preferring to stick to my predictions based on trend, and TES6 is still a year away.

Fallout 4 all but confirmed. Only way I'll not get this is if it's not next gen only. If it's for 360/PS3 as well I'm out. I'm expecting to be blown away by a new next gen engine they're hopefully using.

Definitely a 2016 launch though.

Thanks L-Mike for continuing the thread!

It seems to me that just setting a Bethesda-Zenimax news conference announcement date and place won't really accomplish a build up on its own. Now if BGS were to say we'll be announcing a new release at this event, then there is no doubt e-talk would intensify....and you'd have people committed to going.

Looking at the event myself, I'll probably hold out from viewing it live, let alone making arrangements to attend. Been disappointed by false hype before...

I wish but my gut tells me that won't be the case as they're probably still gonna use the Creation engine like they said they would.

Anyways, I'm still expecting them to reveal a tease/promo before E3 and at E3 we'll get more of a look at F4.

I don't know about FO, but they did say that engine would be used for the next TES game

I thought Todd just said it will be used for more games and didn't specify?! I really doubt they would have built a new engine from scratch for Fallout, but I would like that I think!

Bethesda Game Studios is developing their own engine the whole time. It has came a very long way since Morrowind. Yes the "creation engine" was a big step in development script management changed completly, rendering changed completly, a new animation system was added... it deserved a new name. For Fallout 4 it will get updated again (Actually was already presumably. ou need the engine first before you can start development  ) and yes we will find something that remembers us on Morrowind... but you will find something that reminds you at Unreal (the first one) too in Unreal 4. So the gamebryo/netimmerse myth and BGS is using a outdated engine is pure nonsense.

What most people forget that call for a new engine that it normally means a total different workflow. So all people who are working on the game have to learn the new mechanics on the new engine. It's a huge investment and takes a ton of time. The faster and better way is to build up on something that already existed, improve and adapt it to your actual game imo. (which pretty much happend with Oblivion/FO3/NV/Skyrim).

Also modmaking is always hurt big time when Bethesda makes big changes. A total change of the engine could be the end of modmaking for their games.

Which I don't want to happen. Yes I am selfish here :fallout: .

The E3 2015 conference for Bethesda Softworks has got to be for revealing Fallout 4. I'm going to guess Fallout 4 will be announced, revealed then after that Bethesda Softworks will talk about the new DOOM, Dishonored II, maybe some more information on BattleCry, and possibly a brand new Intellectual Property (IP).

No way Bethesda Softworks would make a big conference like this for the smaller video games that they have. The The Elder Scrolls video games and the Fallout video games are 2 of their biggest video games that sell the most so it makes sense Bethesda Softworks would dedicated this conference for Fallout 4 first.

Does anyone know if Todd Howard will be there to show what Bethesda Game Studios is developing? If he is there then it is a confirmation Fallout 4 or something big from Bethesda Game Studios will be shown.

And just the addition of that new animation system already caused big hassles for modders.

Well that and Havok did away with their free SDK thing, and now you gotta pay 5k or something like that.

Great that I still have a backup as it was free to get. Even if I didn't use it yet.
