Bethesda game suggestion

Post » Wed May 11, 2016 5:33 pm

If you wish to critique my suggestion, please refrain from saying this is not possible or they will never do this, for it is up to Bethesda if it is possible or not.

A seed generated coop post apocalypse game ( fallout or not fallout )

For starters this game will have no story, this game would be centered around you and your friends starting a game and building your own town. Using a creation mode similar to fallout 4, except much more expansive. From environment restoration to town building, you start off with nothing and eventually go on to run a massive settlement. Gathering materials either by hiring people or by doing it yourself. Rebuilding the environment around you is very rewarding, as wood is normally scarce and is used in most low to medium grade housing. Each landscape has its own rewards, crops for example would have bonuses that increase if you fertilize some flat land and rocky landscapes could be used for high quality mining settlements. Landscapes may include flat land, mountains, hills, dying forests, radioactive fields, and each landscape could have a set of modifiers to it, like bandit country, or radioactive wasteland. Your job as a player is to create attractive settlements for NPC's to live in, and keep them living there by gathering and by providing basic needs like water, food, beds. You also want to keep your people well armed. Building and upgrading an armory not only provides your settlers with guns, but also gives you a place to buy and sell. Buildings like these may include armory, armor vendor, clothing medical supplies, traveling merchant, resource merchant, stockpiles, greenhouses, management buildings, guard posts, etc. A management building is the place where you can direct each and every settler in one place, rather then giving the orders to each settler individually. Each landscape has its own set of hazards and enemies. Enemies consist from various wildlife both mutated and not mutated to bandits and robots.

Well I am finished, please write what you think, and if you have anything to add to the game suggestion please comment below

Well, it's true. They will never do it. What you're suggesting is a form of Cityville. That's not what Bethesda does.

Personally, I would rather Bethesda concentrate on what it does best, making open world games that you can explore and do what you want.

thats the thing, Bethesda (and pretty much every dev studio out there) doesn't take unsolicited ideas from outside the company..

they won't though, as has been stated before, they don't even half-consider ideas from outside the company

its the same with pretty much every AAA studio out there, they actually have people on their payroll to come up with ideas, so they don't even give anonymous suggestions an actual look

if you have an idea for your dream game, your best bet is getting a job at a studio (doesn't even have to be a game development job really.. even if you were in say, accounting, after a couple of years working there you could easily pitch an idea to a writer in the break room)..

Reading must not be your strong suit, i did say at the beginning "If you wish to critique my suggestion, please refrain from saying this is not possible or they will never do this, for it is up to Bethesda if it is possible or not."

I mean I may be wrong here, but I think that means please stop commenting why they will or will not do it.

Then call it a game suggestion instead of a Bethesda game suggestion. Let's be honest, you know they won't make a game like this. It isn't their style.

If you feel that I am breaking any forum rules you have the option of reporting my posts. Until then I will say whatever I want as long as I stay within forum guidelines.

I stand by my earlier post. Bethesda will not make this type of game. It's not what they do. That's like asking the developers of the Total War Games to make an open world RPG.

They should make a game where there is a person who explores a region of land with a looming danger threatening it and does little odd jobs for people who are too lazy to do them themselves.

*Next BGS game to come out, I'm gonna gloat at how they liked my suggestion and molded a game out of it :D *

How about a game where when you buy it and a little person comes to where you live and watch you play while he sits in the corner behind you

( and it always sounds like he's eating something but everytime you turn and look he's just sitting there looking back at you...menacingly) and everytime you make an in game decision That the little person doesnt agree with he kicks you in the back!!!...fun right?!
