Bethesda has let us down

Post » Sat Apr 02, 2011 12:15 am

I was thinking I'd check in and see if there had been a patch yet. I sold my old copy, figured I'd pick up GOTY if they ever dealt with all the issues.

Geeze, 201 posts on the patch thread, and the moderators response? closed. No reply, just closed. And the post a few threads below was told to post in the now closed topic!

That svcks guys, really it does. Bethesda really doesn't give a damn, do they?

Sad thing is, before fallout I had nothing but respect for them as company, now I can't see myself ever recommending their products to another person.

Bethesda: You've really let your fans down with your utter lack of regard for the game breaking issues in your game.

No doubt this thread will be closed in 3... 2... 1... but hell, the criticism is well deserved at this point, what a slap in the face to their fans.

Threads are automatically closed around 200. This was the case with the reporting issues thread where there have been around 3 big ones, each with 200 posts in each of them. No doubt someone will start another "request for patch" thread. Maybe it will be this one. Depends where people post.

And the threads you mentioned that redirect to the closed thread, those were to prevent too many different threads from popping up about the same issue. When those posts were closed, the 201 post thread was still open.

I wish that Bethesda would be a bit more active in these forums like the guys at Gearbox:

I can't believe there's no patch yet - it's very sad. The GOTY problems have killed my hype for New Vegas. It's using the same engine as F3, so I'm guessing it will be broken as well.

Hi

This is more "conversational" than the intended purpose of this forum - to report issues and suggest fixes for other users. Sometimes if a lot of users have a particular question then to avoid duplication people are encouraged to post in a single topic (like in Soulwatcher's thread).

Alefin has answered your questions, so I'm going to lock this one up. If Soulwatcher's topic is continued in a second thread, patch discussion can continue there.
