To Bethesda: Locked Levelling will RUIN this game!

Post » Wed Nov 17, 2010 1:17 am

I know Beth people read posts here. I just want you to know that locked level dungeons is a travesty on the same magnitude as what you did with Oblivion. Don't say you were not warned when everyone complains about it after the release. I am not buying this game new unless I hear that this changes.

I see no good reason why this board shouldn't be inundated with similar posts. This will ruin the game. It needs to be changed.

That's a little extreme, don't you think? Not buying the game, I mean... Anyhow I'll buy it and I'm sure it'll be great. The leveling will be too. I think. Guess. Whatever.

Well, sorry to tell you but its really not that bad. Like someone said in the other thread dungeons will have level ranges, like 5-10 or something like that. It actually makes sence, and it improves level scaling.

Really?

No not really. Example. Everyone dungeon has a set level say, 45-50. You walk in at level 1 it gets locked to 45. You get your ass beat. This way we can still see low level creatures even at high levels and we will have to come back after we level up.

No, I meant "really?" as in "that's a pretty dramatic overreaction" :P

This thread is particularly amusing because the OP didn't even know what locked leveling was in said thread.
