Well, it'd be more like Rockville Softworks, but that doesn't sound as nice either.

Though

I assume by "fought of" you mean "thought of"? I can think of no way in hell that can be an accidental typo.

Yes. I'm pretty sure Bethesda Maryland got their name from the Bible. And then the company got their name from Bethesda Maryland.

Rockville Studios just wouldn't be the same. :)
...

How about Montgomery Softworks?

Bethesda and Rockville Maryland are both in Montgomery County Maryland.

Bethesda is a roman name I think maybe greek and the town took that name and the game company called themselves Bethesda after the town.

There's also "Mary Studios", or "Monty Mary studios".

Bethesda is a Hebrew word, not Roman or Greek. And is the name of a pool of water in Jerusalem mentioned in the bible.

I won't go any further in order to avoid anything religious, which would be against forum rules.

I like the sound of "Rockville Studios" or "Rockville Entertainment" (particularly when compared to "Zenimax" which doesnt seem to mean anything) However, I'm sure Rockstar wouldn't like it one bit

Oops, that's right. I was confusing it with Zenimax Studios. :D

You mean Zenimax Media? Or Zenimax Online Studios?

Speaking of which, I didn't know Zenimax had assimilated Arkane Studios. Then again, I've never played an Arkane Game...

This website would be called Rocksoft which, in itself, is counter-intuitive :P

"Rock soft" ("Soft as rock"), while unconventional, does have a similar meaning to "Rock hard" ("Hard as rock").

I got confused and thought you meant some one fought for the name Bethesda, maybe in some epic legal battle. With dice and swords.
