Late this week or early next week, we're shooting to begin the process of allowing all of you to claim your username on Bethesda.net. To ensure that you guys have the first dibs on account names, we鈥檙e keeping all announcements related to the forum transition in this thread until next week.

Shortly after this process, we will be opening our Bethesda.net feedback forum and encouraging others to join in and register. Once the forum is open, we're anxious to hear your feedback so we can start building our new home.

Also.. with the transition over from Bethesdablog.com to Bethesda.net will we see a slow down on quick and dirty blog articles like weekly round-ups, modder spotlights, twitch streaming announcements and just all the regular stuff you and Jess used to do? It seems like Bethesda.net houses "richer" more promotional blog posts centred around your games rather than the community or culture that comes with these titles.

I may missed something. After the change, we will log in to bethesda.net instead of http://www.gamesas.com/ ???

What happens if someone takes a username before its rightful "owner" reserves it?

Thanks for the info, will there just be a feedback forum? Or will there also be another normal forum that we can use and then give feedback on? Or how will all this work? I personally hope the transition will be a short process. When the new shows up, dwelling on the old is pointless.

Thanks for the heads up, Gstaff! I can not imagine anyone wanting my username, but it is good to know I have a shot at keeping it

As for the post battles, don't forget the classic, "Do you get to Bethesda.net often? Oh, what am I saying. Of course you don't!"

Oh I'm hoping no one has their eyes on Fantasyjunkie. If someone does, I'll have to settle for "Fantasyjunkiewannabe!"

From what I understand, there will be just the feedback forum to start with, the rest will come later.

Alright, cause I remember reading somewhere that they would start with migrating TES. But I guess that's after they have gotten feedback and nailed that properly.

It's good to know that they're putting effort into this new site at least.
