bethesda please fix this, texture glitches, Xbox One, pc

Post » Tue Feb 23, 2016 10:36 pm

so i keep getting mulitcoloured textures after playing for anything from 5 minutes to an hour, have to exit and restart the game to fix it, but then it happens again evry damn time, here a video a guy on Xbox One made but its exact same thing for me on pc. guess its something to do with the fix you did for slow loading textures as it started happening after latest patch, im on 1.3.47, its pretty much unplayable as it is because i have to restart every 5 minutes.

That's not the perfect comparison, i guess...

First because the video is dated on November 23, so Fallout 4 was on patch 1.1 those days, so anything funny could happen with that patch.

...and secondly you can't compare a XBOX 1 vs PC to troubleshoot problems like that!

Every platform has it's own strengths and weaknesses.

The good thing about a console is, you can't mess up anything with the system (at least not directly). So if something doesn't work, it could be very well game related.

That's not the case with a PC! On a PC a dozen of things can go wrong...

------

You can post a Dxdiag, and what you have tried so far. I'm sure some people will try to help you! ;)

here a screenshot of my problem identical to his

For the XBOx One this glitch could be a memory Console issue!

Try this workaround posted from a user on the Fallout XBOX one forums:

Go to All Settings

Tap on Disc & Blue Ray

Tap on Blue Ray

Tap on Persistent Storage

Tap on clear Persistent Storage

and Power Cycle the console.

------

I do not have match time, just go to that link, and see if you find any similar texture problems, as the XBOX One console concerns!

http://www.gamesas.com/forum/318-xbox-one/?prune_day=100&sort_by=Z-A&sort_key=last_post&topicfilter=all

The best way to find your answer is in that forum...!

-------

As for the PC version, yes it could be mod related, but it could be GPU related as well.

Some other users have the same texture problems as you, with that GPU in question. (R9 380 4GB)

-------

Try to get Fallout 4 running without mods, or even uninstall those aand see igf you get those texture problems again.

Normally vanilla Fallout 4 should not have such kind of texture anomalies.

My system is inferior thatn yours, but haven't encountered such kind of glitches so far, even on patch 1.3!
