Bethesda Please Read

Hello Bethesda Company,
I know there is alot of hate heading your way from the premature release of this game. Many of your fan offer complaints with no solutions.
I would like to know if there is anyway that i could help with future products, to ensure you have both the man power and proper testing for future releases.
I am currently working towards my degree in computer programming (hoping to get into game design), and would also like to build experience in my field.
Though my programming skills are probably less than anything you currently have. I would be more than willing to Beta Test for you for to ensure that a game with this many defect is never released as is again.

It may sound weird to offer to go through the same problems as we are all currently complaining about at the moment.
but the main difference is first of all a paycheck for doing it, and secondly the pre-existing knowledge that i will be going through these problems

If this is the problem (you did not have enough testers) please provide any information that i can use to help you out in the future.

I love that you think even one Bethesda employee so much as glances at these boards. Let alone the people in charge of hiring.

I see Dan Ross quite a bit myself. (Profile tracking = private for him, Pete, Todd and others.) Hell I've had discussions with him on these boards.

I can dig up some more if you like? Trust me, they do read the boards, and even reply from time to time.

you seem to misunderstand, i do not believe anyone on this board is in charge of hiring
but i do believe they might know something about who is in charge of it, and if they need extra man power

cause you know we all cant be like you and just whine and complain without offering any suggestions as to improve the situation

Yes, they have been on the boards. But click on their profiles and look at the dates and content of their posts. I don't have the luxury of ignoring the game breaking glitches present in the game because they are just that, game breaking. They all seem perfectly happy with the state of this piece of trash. Lots of general discussion, NOTHING on the issues board.

And believe me, I've done more than whine on the boards. I've been on the phone with them and sent many emails detailing my problems and what may have caused them. Have you started a complaint ticket? I highly doubt it. You've probably done nothing but post here, which judging from experience(FO3 GOTY) accomplishes nothing.

Well, to quote Nick:

Please note that these forums are not used for official technical support. Rather, we plan to use it to http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1123617-game-updates/ and allow dialog between gamers to solve common problems, such as the most common problem of video or sound card drivers (or a lack of updated ones).

For technical and customer support, please call 410-568-3685, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, visit support.gamesas.com or email support@gamesas.com.

I'm just happy they are reading them. Sure I'd like them to speak up, but they never have been very strong in this area. I'm used to it.

Let me re-quote your statement.

I love that you think even one Bethesda employee so much as glances at these boards.

It's obvious they do, even by your own admission.

You win that point sir, they clearly at least glance at them. And there are occasional posts, unfortunately they link to the sticky that basically says nothing. Patch 1.0.1 is up, great. Because that works.

That's the same thing I got. I wasn't very pleased with the "if" part.

I have no experience at all, I cannot program anything, I cannot draw anything, and I generally don't care when things get done half way.

That being said I know I can help you design the next fallout in the series. I am sure if you hire me I can make Fallout: Arkansas. Because my skills are equivalent if not better than the lead designer of Fallout: New Vegas you can guarantee that in just 3 weeks Fallout: Arkansas can be released right on par with its predecessor. HIRE ME.

no i called them on the customer support line, they didnt write 'IF' they said it

but this is a moot point now, if you have a look at the game updates sticky (its the very top topic on the problems page)
they have annouced they they are almost done with there "big" patch, and it will be released in within a few weeks (yes i know it svcks but at least its getting done)

also please bethesda at least attempt to test this patch on the PS3 console if only the PC and the 360 get a proper working version you are going to have the BBB so far up your butts.

but ty :) and have a nice day

so they read the boards, BIG [censored] DEAL! that does not change the fact that Bethesda and Obsidian had NO BUSINESS releasing a game with so many problems to the people who pay their salaries. and while they may browse these forums, they offer no [censored] apology to the MANY people here who are stuck with a bug ridden game, that is unplayable, myself included. i could give 2 [censored] who 'made' the game and who did not, Bethesda put their [censored] name on the game and the guide, so as far as i am concerned, they are just as responsible as Obsidian for all the problems that we are having. oh, and f.y.i., leaving a single [censored] post saying "we are aware of the problem and are currently working on it" is not even close to being acceptable. the bottom line is: Bethesda does not care about their customers. they only care about their wallet size. Oblivion, F3, F:GOTY, all made by Bethesda, and all have had huge [censored] problems from the get go. how is it that i can play Metal gear solid4, Modern warfare2, Resident evil 5, and a [censored] load of other games, and have yet to even encounter 1 single crash, and yet just today, while playing NV, my PS3 crashed 3 times in 15 minutes? i just realized i answered my own question. because Bethesda may care about the QUANTITY of their games, but they care nothing for the QUALITY of it, which is why F:NV is not even being considered for winning the Game of the Year award. so dig up as many names as you like, that does not mean they give a flying [censored] about those of us who are stuck with a game we cannot play.

For sure man, what is the common denominator here? Its to bad too because the story and the idea behind the game is incredible. A company that gives a [censored] about its customers and delivering a quality product should buy the rights!
