Except McCready & Maxson - two characters from both games - are older in FO4 than in FO3. They've aged ten years, and are now advlts (one a mercenary, the other a Brotherhood elder). So, uh, Illuminati not confirmed.
fallout 4 is set 10 years after fallout 3. there are a number of people who were in 3 that are now in 4. in all cases they are older. if anything this mechanist is the kid from canturbury who idolized the mechanist and the antagonizer
well personally I think the Mechanist is...
A robot being controlled by the ROBOBRAIN!
+10 illuminati
um no
-fallout 4 is set 10 years after fallout 3
-the mechanist is a super villian from the silver shroud world, possibly unstoppables too. will be completely different character who has taken on the mantle of the mechanist from the silver shroud. same as in our world for example how many different actors have played say superman and the villians of that universe?
-james is the name of your dad in fallout 3
-your mother in FO3 name is catherine and the scene in point lookout is about her
-enlcave can definitely open vaults, and not all vaults are protected
-pipboys can open the vaults, james like all vault dwellers had one. also you could also knock and they can let you in.
-your character has been able to enter vaults at will in every single fallout game?
-theres no outcasts because once maxson took over he reconnected with them and they are all back in the BOS now
-nothing from 4 leads to fallout 3 as that has already happened
basically all the events of FO3 (were you were already 19) happened 10 years before the SS was ever released from the vault (FO4)
never read the guide, but yep the mechanist in FO3 was a trying to be a hero (flawed for sure) but the mechanist in the siver shroud comics is a villian
its shaping up that the mechanist in the DLC will be a villian
also id say the antagoniser was always a villian not a hero, she was "attacking" canterbury commons whereas the mechanist was "defending/protecting" it (both were just [censored] everyone off though lol)
well i dunno about him reading anymore comics cause i stole them all lollity
Or what if the entire Fallout world is actually just a series of cautionary tales the government issued to people in 2077? Each "game" is actually the next installment of a mini-series made to show people what could happen on the event of a nuclear war and everything the player does in each game is broadcasted by millions of concerned people.
