Bethesda releases their games full of bugs, because WE ALLOW

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 10:51 am

That is exactly the attitude which is the fuel for the fire in Bethesda's bugged engine.

A company isn't going to be able to sell their product to a customer who refuses to accept it, due to being covered in crap.

Bethesda has been making and creating games for decades. And they STILL release their games with bugged/broken quests, and people flying dead through the air for no reason?

How many games have you pre ordered that didn't have problems on release honestly?

You should really shut the [censored] up dude, you are truely a dumb [censored], if you believe a game can work perfectly on release then you're living in your own little world, all games on release will be buggy, no denying that, a game developer wont be able to catch all the bugs before it hits the shelves, it's only been a month (and a day).

Also don't paint all gamers as "ignorant half-brained teenagers", you arogant, elitist [censored]-tard.

If you want a game to be completely bug-free on release, you'll get ancient graphics because it takes way too long for those (relatively) few developers to test everything, with every hardware, combined with software, combined with all game-related circumstances.
Your choice ofcourse, but i dont mind playing Skyrim as it is for a month of 2, with only a few minor glitches/inconveniences.

You obviously didn't read my opening remarks when I created this topic. I never said that I expected Skyrim to be bug free. I said backwards flying dragons and broken resistances- I could handle. But dead npc's found in tree tops doing the splits, npc's that are necessary to complete quests... that is pathetic.

I didn't even get to character creation, before the horse pulling me as a prisoner glitched out of nowhere, into the sky, tipping the carriage over, and froze the game. Seriously? During the opening sequence?

I am not expecting a game to be glitch free, or bug free. But bugs causing broken quests, that is unacceptable. And there are more than a dozen known quest bugs.

Whats the matter OP? Did someone steal your sweetroll?

More seriously, you joined today, had a rant, ranted more, didn't listen to any responses then ranted a bit more with childish insults.

Frankly, my opinion of your opinions has gone from little to zero.

My suspicion is however, that your experience must have been buggier than most.

Then trade it in, or shelve until it's fixed to your expectation, and play something else, and fill that games boards with tripe, as you have here.

Basically, if you don't like it, you can eff off yeah? Or, instead of being childish about it, maybe you could offer some suggestions about how they could help fix your game. Don't have the knowledge to do this, well then........^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I said 'bug free', because if there wouldnt be a glitching horse, there would be something else you'd whine about, not realising how few bugs this game actually has, seen the complexity and size of the game, and compared to other games.
You might indeed be unlucky, but the only bugs i encountered so far (and i'm playing the game pretty intensely from the start), are the occasionally crashes when fast traveling, graphical glitches (npc's pink, or disappearing wall) and 1 quest bug, wich hardly has any effect on the awesome gameplay this game provides.

If you want a game to be bug-free, you shouldnt buy it at release. Its just not possible to release games that way. Accept it or dont buy it.

For God's sake, they had Christina Agulera at their release party. What does that tell you?

It tells me I'm sorry I missed the party. :(

Good lord, people - simply having a differing opinion isn't "just cause" to jump down a dude's throat.

@OP - Either this vent helped you feel a bit better, or it didn't - either way this thread has served it's purpose or run it's course. Certainly, people vote with their wallets.
