Bethesda sueing Interplay?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 9:13 pm

Why would they do that for?? They seriously going to destroy the company that birth'ed the fallout idea??

I think Bethesda should be ashamed..I mean give them a chance Bethesda. After seeing all these screenshots of recent ideas for it.. I have a feeling it would be great. Especially now they got an original designer back onboard.

Seriously I have respect for Bethesda as I do find Fallout 3 quite incredible, but just think they are pushing it a bit.. I think maybe they have realized that they could profit doing a MMO Fallout themselves...

..Which wouldn't be a bad thing either lol

There's already a thread on the subject already in progress.

I doubt they will sue, they just have the option as stated in the contract Interplay agreed to when they leased the license from Beth for the Fallout MMO.

Edit: *See's Ausir's post* SNAP!

Interplay hasn't actually delivered anything of significance since 2003, and what's left of the company got whipsawed by a legitimate requirement to raise $30 million capital for development, which was shortly followed by a worldwide banking implosion.

Nobody's going to fund a company that has given no evidence of being able to maintain sufficient capital to remain a going concern or being able to deliver actual working product.

Anyway, please use the thread in progress: http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=979579
