I didn't expect any reward BUT an achievement, considering that it was confirmed before release that the only reward from beating hardcoe mode would be your own personal satisfaction for beating it on hardcoe and an achievement.

This thread just goes to show that people are never happy. What did you want, OP, a gun you couldn't use because the game was already over? You got an achievement, what more do you want, the developers personally congratulating you?
If you're playing games not for the game itself, but to get the end result, you should probably reconsider why you're doing this.
