Bethesda, The Patch Did NOT Fix The Bookshelves

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 3:19 pm

I had two shelves where I could put books Vindrel Hall in Markarth and one that ate my books. The other two shelves I couldn't take the books off the shelf to read. I did figure out a work around for the enchanting weapons that didn't work, but the bookshelf bug still exists. I'm on PC btw, steam direct download.

I'm curious about this because mine were never broken, and still work just fine. It has to have something to do with specific set-ups because I know several others who don't have the bug either.

GStaff has said the bookshelves have a preventive fix. If you broke them and carried on with that save, they'll still be broken.

New game people. I knew people were going to say something like this. When are people going to know that Bethesda doesn't do everything right. Uggh. I took modders to fix the Oblivion issues. Markarth is the first house I've purchased in this new game, thus new save. So no! Just no...
