Bethesda victimizes a Behemoth

Post » Thu Nov 26, 2015 11:08 pm

He lives in some kind of Stonehenge with cars, north of Arc System. South of him is a bus. In my first attempt i was shooting from inside, but close to the door. That didn′t work out so good. However, in my second try i went in the back of the bus and shot thru the window. About 400 0.38s later he was dead. At the first half of that "fight", he was standing still while getting shot at. Only later did he start circling the bus. He wasn′t able to do anything to me. Whether this was intended by Bethesda, a bug or bad a.i., the victory felt very cheap. You shouldn′t be able to kill a proud giant from inside a bus with a hundred peas. Make that bus destructible or radioactive. Or have the Behemoth hide somewhere so you have to get out of the bus. Or make that bus a moveable object and have him wack away. You will feel like that greec alcoholic in his barrel and constantly lose health. Anyway Bethesda, stop victimizing Behemoths!

Giant size does not mean the brain also grew in the Super Mutation, generally Super Mutants are brain damaged by the conversion process.
Never feel it is a cheap shot when you do good sniper work. :)

Really? You do realize it's a video game right? The little A.I. controlled Behemoth has no feelings. And if you are really that upset about it you could've you know....WALKED AWAY. You didn't need to sit there and continue shooting it with your .38 pipe rifle or whatever it was you used.

Yeah generally an enemy without a ranged weapon who can't get to you will just hide. It would have been very cool if he had picked up the bus with you in it and tossed it.

For me, he just stood still and heaved seeing eye curveball rocks.

I had called in the minutemen for backup and they kept him busy while I shot him with a laser rifle and ducked behind a tree when the rocks came.

Having an secure position and a range weapon makes melee only enemies sitting ducks.

In Skyrim it was an nice way to level archery.

Find somewhere narrow like the entrance to an tomb or an open hut. Pull mammoths and giants towards you and shoot them.

Glitches? How about you stand at the roof of a minibus at level 3, with an extremely pissed off alpha mongrel (i just sniped his buddies) running between the carwrecks and then quicksaving one second before realising the bus is burning?

Edit: I assume you scared the Deathclaw to death, no?

I got pinned into the safe spot the first time around, it glitched in and killed me, reload and was insta killed due to reload delay. Loaded to save just before that, realise it was a legendary, switched to landmines and back pedaled then sniped him as he ran to me setting off landmines, swapped to shotgun and kept back pedaling
