Bethesda where are You?

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 11:47 am

Yeah, i love this game but like i mentioned in a previous post, the lack of communication between Bethesda and their customers seems to be ridiculous. There are several thing the community is missing in your game. Tons of lags, missing lobbies, .... I don`t even know where to start. This should have been a esports-title. Looking at the national ESL starting with 4.000 $ and the European ESL with 15.000 € you really messed up everything you could do.

So i just want to know and hopefully will get an answer before someone will close this thread, are gonna change anything, will we get some news on whats going on or are you doing the same fault Sony has done and 77.000.000 people went crazy because: THE LACK OF CUMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE CUSTOMERS AND SONY!

So, will this game get what it deserved or will you just let it go down because you realized that Splash Damage and you did fail in several things by planning this game!

The game has been out for 9 days (in the states. 6 days everywhere else) and was patched 5 days ago.
Have some patience. It hasn't been that long.

I do have patience, but i`d also like to know what`s going on and if you take a look through the technical help, you just realize that you can count down the posts done by Bethesda on one hand. So where is the support? I mean at lest some infos ore else on their Newsblog. But to all our disappointment nothing. It`s just like they took all the money and now they`re all sitting at the beach laughing at you while you can`t play the game like it should be.

How about an update... Like "we have sent the patch to Microsoft for approval of the update, our comitment to the comunity includes keeping our valued customers updated during our attempt at correcting the issues that everyone is experiencing .", Just wondering....

Bethesda published it. That is all.

Go on over to the splashdamage forums if you want to hear from the people who actually made the game. Some of the devs and important production people post there. They've done a pretty decent job of communicating so far.

I do read the Splash-Damage Forums but did you also noticed this:

Discuss technical issues with other community members. Please note that this is not an official support forum - visit Bethesda's technical support forums to get official support for Brink.

Actually they have not done well. In the Xbox issues, we have had little more than give us examples.... it's like they have haven't picked up a controller. All I want is an update on where we are, do they have a clue?? Or is it a long way off?? Also, as I post in both forums, it states at the top of the SD forums to post here....

Gstaff posts most days to communicate with Brink fans. Here is a list of his posts in addition, there are posts addressing issues in the Brink sections that are pinned at the top:

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=user_activity&search_app=&mid=365941&sid=dd3672f56dea2cbdea164e7045d08dd2

Change it to "all posts by" and you can get a run down of what he has been saying in the Brink forums. :)

Thank you for the update.

Would be nice if you could include the english-language pack for the european players on PS3 with the next patch. I did have to switch my system back to german to avoid the french one given if the system language is english.

really hope im not gonna be waiting another few weeks after this patch just so my game doesnt look like turok 64. atleast it will be in lag free and playable (hopefully), tho the texture rendering is atrocious and i cant believe it was not addressed in the update if it was not.
