We already have a multiple page thread where people have come up with some great work-arounds and for now, most of us are hard saving a LOT but where is the official fix? This is ridiculous. After years of playing FO3 I'm used to relying on quick and auto saves for the inevitable crashes.

It was fixed with the last patch, and Steam Cloud has been disabled for this game.

I've still had it revert to 'older' saves despite the cloud being disabled, and in offline mode.

Odd, I had a crash which reverted me last night too and I've had the Steam cloud disabled since before I even launched the game.
