Bethesda, why you no grenade launchers!

raise lone wanderer, give stuff to a companion, or level strong back if you can't carry it also its fun to use and arcs like a grenade launcher so it is closer than the missile launcher but that is also a good replacement as well if you have something against the cannon.

Making the fatman fire grenades could be interesting too. Those are both easy solutions. But it's not the best solution.

Heh, sorry, but FO3 and FO4 are NOT the Fallout esthetic. They are Bethesda's extremely lame interpretation of said esthetic. FO:NV is much closer to the true Fallout esthetic than anything Bethesda could cobble up.

A good question actually. With the introduction of pipe weapons there could have been a wide nozzled pipe assault rifle that you could have switched out with grenades or something.

Instead of firing flare, I would rather see a smoke grenade or illuminating rounds, perhaps even an airburst grenade sort of thing. Already have the flare gun for the minutemen.





Useless, as in you didn't have the perks to support it, or useless as in you couldn't figure out how to use it? ;) I think they worked fine, and was something else than the usual stuff otherwise put in games. IN FO4 they would work better, since enemies runs for cover, and it is a great "flush them out weapon" (just as they will try to run away from handgrenades thrown at them)

That's a technique of course. And one I have used when the opportunity presents, and I'm actually carrying one. I was looking for a bigger box though. One that has something that might be...oh, 35 lbs lighter? Same goes for the thing we're calling an "assault rifle."

But, I have to say, the Missile Launcher is easily the best sniper rifle in the game.

Gotta love drawing your definition of what makes a Fallout game from the one outlier (Fallout 3) in the series. Fallout 1, 2, Tactics, and New Vegas? They're all Falloutesque too. Fallout 3 was the only Fallout game until about two months ago. Too damn funny.

That just sounds satisfying. Like that bit with the ship and the cannons, only on a smaller more accurate scale and whenever you want it.

People always underestimate the grenade launcher, and cause of games like CoD people think it is just a noob weapon that shouldn't exist. Thing is the grenade launcher is a strategic weapon that is used to flush enemies from cover, bust bunkers, and even take out high threat targets it is not a power house do to the fact that a missile or rocket would do more damage, it is a power house in the fact that it can hit things a rocket can not.
