Better Business Bureau Complaints

Post » Sun Jan 30, 2011 7:55 pm

I encourage all owners of Crysis 2 on the PC to file a complaint against Electronic Arts, Inc. and Crytek GmbH. for delivering a defective product on the PC platform.

There is no doubt that thousands of those who have purchased Crysis 2 on the PC have been experiencing countless issues with the game that Crytek is at fault for. Thus far, five days since launch Crytek has failed to remedy the problems that many have encountered with the game and has given no estimated time for fixing the problems with the game.

Therefore, I encourage EVERYONE to file a complaint with the BBB.

Uh what issues, the game is working just fine for me. Yea sure the multiplayer was horrible at launch but it has gotten alot better. People panicking about small issues obviously dont know how to use google. People just need to learn how to troubleshoot and stop whining.

You obviously have no idea what we're talking about.

There are many issues which are unsolvable by the community. Primarily the lack of DX11 (and the rumored "we'll shut them up with a half-assed patch" DX11 release for tomorrow), as well as the loss of ranks in multiplayer; me and my friend lost 2 hours of progress last night because of that. Not only that, but many people are experiencing game-breaking campaign bugs. It's not like STALKER where you can go and look anything up and people have solved it already, it's only been 5 days since the game came out.

Just because you're among the lucky 5 people in the world who don't care about the lack of promised features and haven't experienced severe bugs doesn't give you the right to act like an ass. We aren't whining. We're exasperated by stuff we can't solve because we lack the necessary tools to do so, namely mod tools. Trust me, if we had something like that, Crytek wouldn't even have to lift a finger for the entire game to get fixed in less than a day.

No thanks. Sorry this is lame. While the game didn't live up to a lot of expectations and it's lacking a lot of features on the PC side of things, it's by no means terrible. What's the point in this anyway? Will it make Crysis 2 magically more like the first? Nope. If anything it will just make devs more likely to abandon PC even further. As a USian it saddens me to say...only in America...

Every person has their own opinion and a right to be concerned. I think the developers won't give up on in general, as if PC is having issues, its likely that the consoles have some issues of their own as well. And since all platforms are the same price, this won't look good for either EA or Crytek especially from a business relationship with their customers. Gonna take a blow in not their sales now, but their future games.

^^This. Basic campaign bugs alone like nano catalyst resetting itself are not excusable.

LOL the BBB will laugh you out. Crytek broke no laws, stepped over any boundaries, and not falsely advertised. the only reason you would need to contact the BBB is if the game is 100% not working. You can not contact the BBB without being laughed at if the game is not working to your desires.

You people really need to take a basic law class and you would realize who stupid some of you sound.

Next time wait and see what the game is like before you buy it. This whole I'M COMPLAINING TO THE CYBER POLICE attitude happened with Black Ops, and guess what? Nothing happened.

cool you dont HAVE to sign it and im happy your copy works but the rest of us "winghy" players with **** up copies, which amount to more like 85-90%, were screwed with a **** product and UNKNOWINGLY mind you. we paid 60 **** dollars for their issues which should have been dealt with before release. i dont know about you but when i pay for something and for items that were promised to me and is SUPPOSEDLY in working order i expect to get what i paid for-not for something half-assed which now I have to eat and they get to profit from! so, enjoy your copy while we keep whining .

as far as breaking any laws they in fact did and thats consumer trust (its viable look it up) they offered a product under the pretense that its in working condition and free of defects AND offered additional content for a set price to which NONE of it was delivered! now any other well minded consumer would take said product back and return it BUT because software is non-refundable you are left to your own devices and are stuck with a defective product which theyve already made a profit from! the reason the BBB wont bother is the general attitude of the consumer that the BBB wont do a damn thing so not enough people bich and it just falls off the radar. this isnt a matter of it svcking in terms of content but a matter of technical issues. im sure if you bought a brand new car and there was a mechanical issue driving it off the lot youd sure as **** take it back so why not a game? people SPEAK UP if you dont **** like this will just continue with other companies!
