Even Psycho Dog Studios' website only offers version 1.1. Where do you think that you found 1.4b?

Better Clothes Version Beta 1.4(SOME SHIRTS NOT COMPLETED THESE WILL BE COMPLETED IN THE NEXT VERSION)Creaters (in Alphabetical order)Calishlan (textures) shirts, pants, shoes, skirtsDereko (meshes) pants conversion, shoes (Project Coordinator)Greybeard (Physiquing) shirts (Texture Mapping assistance)Neuman (original pants)NioLiv meshes (all Skirts, Shirts) (texture mapping)Special thanks toKorana - textures 2 shoe textures common1 and common2,Sierre (original skirts)Silaria (Meshes original Shirts)*** Requirements ***-Morrowind-Better Bodies v2.1 to v2.2-A beast Replacer is also highly recommended such as Sabregirls “BetterBodies for Beasts" or Slofs "BetterBeasts"***WHAT THIS MOD DOES ***This mod replaces ALL the ingame clothing to more realistic clothing to fit the better bodies mod. This will replace all clothing bought in stores as well as on npcs and gaurds and on your character. All of the meshes and textures have been completely redone. Because the meshes have been completely redone, as this is a "replacer", we have tried to stay as close as possible to the style of the original Morrowind clothing, so that it is still recognizable. Of course some artistic changes have been made by the individual artists where they felt it was necessary. For those familiar with the TES Editor Better Clothes also frees up alot of "Body slots" for example: the Better Clothes pants uses only the groin body part. The original clothes used the groin, upper left leg, upper right leg, left knee, right knee, left ankle and right ankle for pants. What does that mean? Well, you'll be able to wear more combinations of existing Better Body compatible clothes that are out there. ***WHAT THIS MOD DOES NOT DO ***This mod does not replace ingame robes, the reason for this is the ingame robes never had clipping problems with Better Bodies, and there are enough robe replacers in the community, so we felt as a group that this would have been duplication. (if you would prefer a robe replacer we would suggest using Canadian Ice’s excellent robe replacer)This mod does not replace armor.*** INSTALLATION ***Simply click the exe file and everything should install into the correct folders.*** KNOWN BUGS AND ISSUES ****None, this mod has been cleaned with testool and does not change npcs in anyway, and you should not have doubling of any kind. Mods such as Morrowind Comes Alive and other mods which add their own clothing meshes and assignments will not have their clothes replaced by this mod.CreditsSpecial thanks of course toPsychodog Studios for the BB mod where none of this would of bin possible.NeumanZenorfFarielIf you wish to ask permissions regarding usage of the contents of this mod please ask the individual artists.
I believe it was in a large compilation mod pack called
TES3 Morrowind Essential Enhancements that I found a link to just Googling before I found any of the official forums etc. Other contents were MGE 3.0.2, Better Bodies, Better Heads, Better Beasts, Visual Pack v2.11+v2.2+XT, Guild Wars Music Pack etc.
ESP named
Better Clothes Beta_1.4.esp dated 30/12/2005. There is no creator or other information listed in the Data File load screen. This file though and the rest of the pack contents (much incorporated as sources as per Knots' guide since many were latest versions) have worked without issues for months.
The readme for that megapack states:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-Info-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-Title: TES3 Morrowind Essential EnhancementsPlatform: PCDate: July 21st, 2006Size: 197MB-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-Contact Info-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-Site: www.stevemv.com-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-Credits-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-www.elderscrolls.complanetelderscrolls.gamespy.comwww.mwmythicmods.com
I can't now recall or access the exact URL I found the pack uploaded, but this information will probably be enough for anyone interested to recreate my Google. Otherwise, since the file appears to be a mystery, I will be happy to provide it through PM to someone willing to investigate it further, since I don't really have the forensic CS skills for that.
