[REQ]Better Dagoth Ur Thread II

Tested it yesterday, and it works fine, just gotta fix some looping problems,
and some wierd movements and he should be ready to go, give me a few days.

Also, it seems he magically scaled up to the correct size on his own... :blink:
Is he scaled in the CS or something then?

Amazing work.

May I include the finished product in Creatures? It'll save players the headache
of merging objects correctly since in Creatures I made changes to Mr Ur's stats
and I think scripts too.



Which version?

Ultimately (hopefully), the goal of this has been to make Dagoth Ur pluginless;
if you have not changed the model for Dagoth Ur, then Creatures should
be compatible with the versions represented here. If tyou have, then I
do not mind your inclusion of my version in Creatures (once DU is released ;) ).

Anyone can use the animation, no credit required, you'll have to ask Westly about the rest.
Though, if the animation scales correctly without using the CS, it might end up as a pluginless replacer, so compatability wise it should be okay as long as Creatures doesn't change the model in the CS.

edit: I can't even call it ninja'd, with a difference of 4 minutes... o_O

Ah, if it's going to be completely pluginless, then there's no issues at all. I'll just put a link/recommendation to download this replacer in the Creatures readme.

Erm, as to version, I thought there was only one. Well, the one that I love is Westlys (although, who can say they hate your work!), makes it fit in with all the BB people now populating the world.

It's sounding like there's only one currently in production as a replacer. Darknut's will undoubtedly be part of DNGDR, and SWG has a ton of WIPs, so it's unlikely that he's actively working on it.

BTW Westly, which Dagoth head will you be releasing? I've seen 3- the full mask and two half masks (one with the 3rd eye open and one with it closed).

Is it possible, to convert the Ash vampires and other ash creatures( expect the Ascended Sleeper :P ) to use BB meshes?

It should already be possible to convert most of them over, there's some deformation with the ash vampires, but westly said he should be able to work around it. :shrug:

Also, I doubt many people heard this in that other thread I posted this in, so I'll say it here too.
I'm currently having some problems with all my creature animations, once I get the issue resolved, I'll post here about it. I'm very busy in RL atm though, so I'm not sure when that might be.

I'm not, I've talked to a few people about it.
The walking/running animation wont loop correctly, Antere's is having the same problem. I think it's because the Bounding Box isn't following the right bone correctly.
My Biped walk works fine, so it's to do with hierarchy or someting I think.

Oh, I didn't know you were still making a Dagoth Ur replacer SWG. I was originally asking about Dirnae's animations, since that's what seems to be holding up Westly's DUR. Are you going to use Dirnae's animations too, or are you using the vanilla mesh? I'm afraid I've only seen one picture of your replacer, SWG, so I can't remember what it looked like. Screenies (or links to screenies)?

Is it alright if you make it SatUrday from now on? I don't check the forum often towards the weekend.

Thing is, I was going to wait til I was better at animating, then remake some of the uglier animations.
But I guess I should just get the animations fixed and uploaded.

I guess I can always update it later. :)
