Better hair?

Post » Sat Sep 03, 2011 3:52 pm

I'm looking for a good hair replaces (prefs all races) but keep finding them in 3 or 4 new meshes which would be too much work to sort out. Anyone know of any good replacers out there that will do the job in one go?

Better Heads but I don't use it I use Louis Beauty Shop and it's addons as well as westly Master head pack which is what you should get.

Thanks Laten but what I found so far is terrible recolours and a lot of them. I was hoping to find something like MQB's hairs in a pack that give a few more choices than are usually available.

I just downloaded a complete face pack (MW makeover I think) and it's awful. The hairs are almost 90% recolours and include a lot of the crappy original hair textures which dont make a decent looking NPC at all.

westly's corean hair, Qarl's hair pack, axel's physiqued hairs, andy's elf hairstyles, and vvardenfell visages which is a pluginless replacer are all I can remember without looking through my archives

Lol thank you missiri thats quite a few.

What I was originally saying is; there are a lot of packs out there that add maybe 4 or 5 hair meshes but not any that add say 40 new ones. maybe 4 new ones and 36 recolours which is bloody irritating indeed.

Best I can come up with so far for my heroin rofl

build your own based off Vvardenfell Visages is what I suggest now that I understand what you wanted I can assure you I have not found one that does what you want but it's easy enough to make one if you have some hairs you like unzip vvardenfell visages and locate the meshes folder it's easiest if you extract to your morrowind data files folder all the heads and hairs are located in Data Files\Meshes\b now unzip the head replacer you want to take a hair from and find the one you want by opening the nif in nifskope(beware in vvardenfell visages nearly every single reference is incorrect it shows fine in game but you will need to change the texture reference to dds to view in nifskope) now rename the hair you want to use to the name of the hair you want to replace. and move it into the b subfolder of your meshes directory(dont forget to grab the necessary textures.)
